Spectacular original character oozes throughout this beautiful family home that has everything you could ever want or need. Nestled behind an iconic picket fence, this exceptional residence has all of the nostalgic features attached to it – from gleaming wooden floorboards to ornate cornices, fireplaces and more. Take a journey back through time and be impressed by what you find, beyond lush green lawns, manicured gardens and a fabulous wraparound verandah entry deck.
The bedrooms are all of generous proportions, with a spacious bathroom modernised to add quality to a free-standing claw-foot bathtub – as well as a separate shower. There is plenty of bench and storage space within the open-plan family, dining and kitchen area, too.
In fact, the latter is where most of your casual time will be spent and is graced by a ceiling fan, tiled splashbacks and stylish stainless-steel range-hood, gas-cooktop, oven and dishwasher appliances. A separate front lounge room doubles personal living options and is the perfect formal space to relax and unwind in, upon entry.
At the rear and behind double French living-area doors, a huge decked patio area encourages covered entertaining whilst overlooking a shimmering below-ground swimming pool that is surrounded by an extension of the decking. Café blinds provide protection from the elements out here, with a large backyard-lawn area sure to keep the kids – and even the family pet – very happy indeed.
Extras include soaring high ceilings, built-in wardrobes, a separate laundry with external access, a separate toilet, a 6.6kW solar power-panel system, a new Daikin fully-ducted and zoned 12.5kW reverse-cycle air-conditioning system, integrated audio speakers, a private bore connected to a full reticulation system, a single access gate that secures the loveliest of front yards and another gate for driveway parking – for between 1-2 cars – in front of the single lock-up garage. There is also a single carport in front of the garage, for good measure.
Only footsteps away from the river, sprawling parklands, the local nature play space, Woodbridge Train Station, Governor Stirling High School and Woodbridge Primary School, with Guildford Grammar School and the vibrant Guildford café precinct just around the corner themselves. Not to mention the heart of Midland, shopping, restaurants, medical facilities, major arterial roads and our picturesque Swan Valley.
They say that home is where the heart is. Well, you will love living here, no matter what!

Woodbridge is a small suburb within the City of Swan that used to be known as ‘West Midland’ when it was formerly part of neighbouring suburb Midland. Woodbridge’s first growth period took place in the 1880s and 1890s, but it wasn’t till after the Second World War that significant development occurred.
Predominantly a suburb used for housing, Woodbridge enjoys close proximity to the Midland CBD. Within its boundaries there are two schools, Woodbridge Primary School and Governor Stirling Senior High School, as well as a local shopping centre which takes care of immediate amenity and shopping requirements.
Woodbridge Railway Station provides good transport options connecting to the Midland line and providing a direct route into Perth. Other features of note are the Woodbridge House National Trust and the Woodbridge Riverside Park and Play Space.
