If your wondering is there any improvements to be made here you can sigh a breath of relief knowing that all wet areas have been renovated in the past and most windows and doors have been replaced with stylish aluminum frames plus modern flooring fitted throughout including bamboo flooring.

Externally this half acre (2036m2) property is two tiered with extensive retaining that not only create user friendly spaces but also beautifully frame this family estate bringing a sense of seclusion and security. There are two outdoor living spaces with a gable patio adjoining the rear indoor living spaces ideal for the teenagers and a separate dome decked patio with additional decking at the front taking full advantage of the city vistas a place to retire t every evening with a glass of bubbly in hand. Unique to this property and especially this side of the escarpment is a well that provides reticulation to the gardens and lawn and also permits the potential for a future home grown vegetable garden.

Lesmurdie overview

Like Kalamunda, the development of the "Lesmurdie" area is closely tied to the exploitation of the Jarrah forest in the region by the Canning Jarrah Timber Company Ltd. In 1897, Mr Archibald Sanderson, a Perth journalist commenced the acquisition of a number of these properties, with a view to building up a "rural retreat" and he named his property "Lesmurdie". Lesmurdie Cottage was a shooting-box in Banffshire, Scotland, near Dufftown and was let to Mr Sanderson's father for shooting. It was in memory of this cottage that Sanderson applied the name to his property.
