Bright, Clever & Brand New

Custom designed and built by Tectonics, this solar passive four bedroom, three bathroom home delivers clever design with a flexible layout that ticks all the boxes. The main residence includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms, while under the same roofline sits a fully self contained one bedroom, one bathroom studio wing - ideal for multi-generational living, independent teens, guest stays, or even Airbnb.

The premier suite is a real retreat spacious, filled with morning light, and complete with a walk in robe and roomy ensuite, set apart from the minor bedrooms for privacy. Two additional bedrooms sit off a separate hallway with built-in robes, alongside a family bathroom with tub, separate WC powder room, and a big laundry with loads of storage.

The galley kitchen is a standout with stone benchtops, a huge walk in pantry with power, handcrafted timber floating shelves, and a breakfast bar that's perfect for family catch-ups. It opens into the living and dining zone with big north-facing windows and sliding doors that spill out to the covered alfresco patio.

Outside, there's a big grassed area for kids and pets to play, plus plenty of space for a shed, a chook pen, more fruit trees, or veggie gardens. Reticulated gardens keep everything low maintenance.

The studio wing offers even more possibilities, with a large bedroom and study nook, its own bathroom, a kitchenette, and a private courtyard with separate deck entry. Whether it's for family, guests, or income - it's a winner.

Quality finishes run throughout, with stone benchtops in all wet areas, stylish blinds and sheers, and a double lock up garage. Why bother building when you can walk straight into this brand new, ready to go home?

All of this just minutes from Rapids Landing Primary School, the local dog park, and the vibrant weekend farmers market.

Margaret River overview

The townsite of Margaret River is located in the south west agricultural area, 277 kilometres south southwest of Perth and 48 kilometres south southwest of Busselton. It is located on the Margaret River from which it derives its name. The precise origin of the naming of the river is not known, but it was possibly named by John Bussell in honour of Margaret Wyche, a friend in England who was expected to follow the Bussell's to Australia. The name is first shown on a map of the region published in 1839.

In 1910 the Margaret River Progress Association wrote to the Minister for Lands requesting a townsite be declared at "the Upper Margaret Bridge". The reason given was that "the district is likely to be dotted with public buildings several miles apart in the near future if a townsite is not made available shortly". The District Surveyor who inspected the area preferred an area near the lower bridge on Caves Road, but this land was not available. Lots were surveyed in 1912, and the Townsite of Margaret River gazetted in 1913. In 1918 the name of the townsite was changed to "Margaret", but it was changed back to Margaret River in 1927, due to local usage of the name always being Margaret River.
