4 x 2 Great Value Family Home

It's not often anymore that we get a chance to list a roomy 4-bedroom 2-bathroom family home for under $500,000, so we don't expect this to last too long.

This home is being offered to the market for a short time only, and will be leased out again if we don't find a keen buyer ready to move!!!

The home features a light and bright internal colour scheme, new blinds throughout, a mix of split-system and package A/C's and separate family/dining and living areas.

Easy care reticulated gardens make it easy to look after, and the afternoon shade from the established trees out the front keeps the building efficiently cool.

The master bedroom has a walk-through robe to the ensuite and the house has a sought after 2+2 layout with 2 bedrooms at each end of the house making it highly flexible for different family shapes and sizes.

With plenty of side parking for boat and/or extra vehicles, this is an easy-to-own family home in excellent condition at a great price. BE QUICK!

Kununurra overview

The townsite of Kununurra is located in the Kimberley region in the extreme northeast of the state, 3214 kilometres from Perth. When the Ord River Irrigation scheme was being planned in the 1950s a townsite was included in the proposed development. Amongst other submissions of Aboriginal names put forward for the new townsite being created in the vicinity of the Ord River Dam was "Cununurra", said to mean "black soil" and to be the Aboriginal name for the Ord River according to Mary Durack. A Mr. Lewis of the Public Works Department reported that a soil survey undertaken in 1954 had disclosed that 99 per cent of the land to be irrigated from the dam was composed of "cununurra clay". This name was not favoured by the Postmaster-General's Department because of its similarity to place names in Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia. However, to compromise, that department suggested adopting the spelling, "Kununurra", this version being approved in March 1960. The townsite was gazetted in 1961.
