HOME OPEN CANCELLED. UNDER OFFER

Hidden in the very heart of idyllic Boya is this surprisingly stunning, unique Hills home. Elevated with its pole home construction, it fully takes advantage to maximise the spectacular views which are enjoyed from every aspect. This home has been renovated and modernised to perfection over the years and utilises the spaces brilliantly, especially the under level shed/storage space. Every corner of this home quietly, calmly whispers 'tranquillity' from the peaceful spots to share a tea (or wine) on the deck at the rear of the home to the stylish kitchen with earthy tones and acres of space to whip up whatever culinary delights you're hankering for. If you're stuck for a bit of inspiration, simply turn and take in the wonderful views from the huge kitchen window and family and friends can park at the island bench turned breakfast bar to keep you company as you create. Even the laundry has a pretty outlook! EVERY WINDOW has a view.
The views really are breathtaking from every viewpoint, whether you're cosied up in the living area by the pot belly stove or reading a story aloud in your little one's bedroom while watching the Summer day settle into evening over the treetops. When you really want to feel like you're a thousand miles away from everything hustley and bustley, take some time to lather up and enjoy the double outdoor showers that are so unique - there's literally nothing between you and nature, and you're perfectly protected by the seclusion.
Features Include:
Unique Hills private pole home with fabulous views
Two road frontages, one at the back and one at the front.
4 beautiful bedrooms with views
2 impeccable, modernised bathrooms

Fantastic central living area
Separate lounge & kitchen
Extra upstairs multi-purpose room
Second entertaining area at front of house

Large balcony, perfect for entertaining, showcasing stunning valley views, at rear
Under-house shed
1009 sqm block

The native trees have been respected on this block, only being contained by some considerate landscaping - think timber retaining walls and curved lines in recycled materials, a spot of lawn, multilevel outside 'rooms', and local granite outcrops featuring throughout. Even so, there's still a healthy-sized driveway and carport for ease of living and plenty of mulched and gravelled areas - keeping your garden maintenance to a minimum. The birdlife and resident bandicoots love your garden as much as your visitors will, but if you need a little more nature, the local walk trails are iconic and you're just down the road from Mountain Quarry, where you can soak up the outdoors (or even scale a cliff!) Soothing, stylish, and spectacularly ideal for a small family who needs a bit of quiet time, but still only a quick drive to Midland or Mundaring for everything else you need.
Elevate your peace.

Boya overview

To supply the stone required to build the groynes at Fremantle Harbour, a Government quarry was established in the hills a little south-west of Darlington. A spur line was run into the quarry from the existing railway and, by July 1901, dozens of iron and hessian huts housing approximately 150 workmen were clustered near the site. In August of 1901, construction began on a railway siding for the use of this settlement and the first name proposed was "Yan-Yeen". This was rejected because of a duplication in Victoria and the Aboriginal word "Boya", appropriately meaning rock/stone, was chosen instead. It was later found that the correct Aboriginal name for the area was "Nyeedoup" but Boya remains appropriate as the Aboriginal sub-tribe who once inhabited the hills were known as "Boya-Ngoora".
