If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, come and see this lovely private cottage. Situated with close proximity to the heart of Binningup, it is an easy stroll to the swimming beach, general store and tennis courts. A short 400m walk will find you heading over the sand dunes at Valentine Road and onto the beach.

Access is off Ridge Street, and the front of the block is full of trees which draws in the birdlife; a peaceful way to start the day with a cuppa on the north facing verandah.

Come inside and you will find:

• Lovely, tiled living area with reverse cycle air conditioning & a tile fire. A large window overlooks the trees at the front of the property.
• Adjacent to the lounge is a good-sized dining area with a sliding door leading to the back verandah.
• The near-new kitchen is finished with grey granite-look benchtops and grey cabinetry. With a good mix of cupboards, drawers, and overheads there is plenty of storage space. The breakfast bar provides a great place for casual dining or a drink while dinner is cooking. There is also a new upright electric stove, corner pantry and plenty of room for a large fridge.
• A hallway leads to the remainder of the home.
• The master bedroom is right at the end and runs the width of the house. The creates a beautiful sanctuary with room for a bed & plenty of extra space for a retreat or home office. This room could be divided into two rooms or provides a great bunkroom/play space for the kids if the property is used as a holiday home.
• The other bedroom is generous in size as well.
• The bathroom comprises a shower, vanity, and toilet.
• The laundry has a timber built-in linen cupboard, trough and room for the washing machine.

Out the back you will find a wide verandah running the full length of the house which overlooks the backyard.

A shed with roller door provides secure parking, extra storage, or the perfect place for home handyman! A small garden shed on the other side of the yard is handy for storing those garden implements or wood for the winter.

A large flat roof patio is situated off the main shed, providing a great place for a weekend BBQ.

Large blocks are a feature of this street, and this corner block is sure to impress with 1,170m2 of land. There may well be opportunity for multiple dwellings (subject to council approval).

If you're looking for an easy-care beach house, this one ticks lots of boxes. This property would be easily tenanted and might appeal to the astute investor who wants to secure a large block in the 'older part' of town.

Binningup overview

Binningup is a south western coastal townsite located 127 kilometres south of Perth and 30 kilometres north of Bunbury. By 1962 there was only one resident in the area, but many homes were built in the following few years. At the request of the Shire of Harvey, Binningup was gazetted a townsite in 1963.
