An OASIS of NATURE

Immaculately presented, these stunning homes offer an unforgettable first impression. Boasting an enlightening connection with nature, both houses are positioned on 2018 m2 of undulating land with spectacular valley views across the Margaret River and natural bushland.

BUILDER
Built in 2022 by Tectonic Building Design, a reputable award-winning Margaret River builder, each home embraces a healthy, sustainable design and solar passive features. With the focus on elevated valley views, these homes embrace abundant natural light all year round.

THE DESIGN
A combination of AXON vertical cladding in weathered grey and cladding in soft grey immaculately details the modern elevation of the two villas. Through glass windows and slider doors, each living space timelessly captures elements of nature. A screened outdoor entertaining area expands the living spaces into the surrounding landscape, blurring the edges of the architecture.

VILLA A
Flowing through to the main living area and kitchen, a sense of peace and serenity is evident, with glimpses of the landscaped gardens, alfresco, and mesmerising views of the tranquil bushland. The pitched roofline and prevalent landscaping of boulders lush natives transform the oasis of nature.

The SCANDIA slow-combustion woodfire heater commands attention in the living space, complementing the unique kitchen. This entertaining area features a fusion of timber, colour, and striking fixtures and fittings: timber benchtops with a waterfall finish, moody pendant lighting, quality carpentry with bespoke black cupboard interiors, and an integrated dishwasher. The 600mm stove with gas cooktop compliments the striking bronze mirrored splashback, while the black granite sink with brass tapware showcases the exquisite use of design elements. The butler's pantry and laundry/mud room have come together, providing endless storage ideas, a charging station, outside access and a cavity sliding door for additional privacy.

A retractable glass door seamlessly transitions inside and out, with decorative exposed aggregate extending across the entertaining area. The imposing view is timeless, compelling, and irresistible, with the Jarrah and Marri trees being eye-level visuals. Pathways connect the surrounding landscape and are accessible via the main living area.

Tranquillity and privacy extend into the main bedroom and bathroom. The romantic open space embraces elegant lighting, glass, a bespoke timber vanity, and floor-to-ceiling tiles. The visually inspiring room extends outside to a private lounge with stunning uninterrupted valley views.

VILLA B
Total immersion within the rich and ever-changing environment, the two-bedroom villa sits behind Villa A, which is accessible via the connecting pathway. The enthralling two-bedroom villa features an identical colour palette with high-end fixtures and fittings-however, it has a slightly different floor plan from Villa A. Set with valley and bushland views, it is a retreat for visiting family and guests.

LANDSCAPING
This remarkable property has been finished off with an awe-inspiring landscape design. Margaret River overview

The townsite of Margaret River is located in the south west agricultural area, 277 kilometres south southwest of Perth and 48 kilometres south southwest of Busselton. It is located on the Margaret River from which it derives its name. The precise origin of the naming of the river is not known, but it was possibly named by John Bussell in honour of Margaret Wyche, a friend in England who was expected to follow the Bussell's to Australia. The name is first shown on a map of the region published in 1839.

In 1910 the Margaret River Progress Association wrote to the Minister for Lands requesting a townsite be declared at "the Upper Margaret Bridge". The reason given was that "the district is likely to be dotted with public buildings several miles apart in the near future if a townsite is not made available shortly". The District Surveyor who inspected the area preferred an area near the lower bridge on Caves Road, but this land was not available. Lots were surveyed in 1912, and the Townsite of Margaret River gazetted in 1913. In 1918 the name of the townsite was changed to "Margaret", but it was changed back to Margaret River in 1927, due to local usage of the name always being Margaret River.
