Eight of the most luxurious properties sold in 2021

After a record year of properties selling at or above $3 million, here were eight of Perth’s most expensive homes sold in 2021.

2021 has been the year of hot property, with some of Perth's finest mansions being taken off the market.

In fact, this year has seen the most properties ever sold at or above $3 million with 244 properties sold in that price range. We only came close to this during the property market peak in 2007 where 242 properties sold at or above $3 million.

From world class views to Perth's top architecture, here were some of Perth's most top end properties sold this year.

1. 22 Odern Crescent, Swanbourne

Ever wondered what the price tag would be for some of Perth's finest land? This prime landholding in Swanbourne sold for $13.3 million to Thermomix co-founder Witold Mazur and his wife, Grace.

The beachside property sold through Space Real Estate's Justin Davies and the block set a new land price record of $15,148 per square metre.

Nestled in Swanbourne's most prestigious enclave, this unique property offers relentless views over the ocean to the infinite and sublime sunsets.

There's no surprise that this sale made news headlines.

2. 4 Ozone Parade, Cottesloe

No expense has been spared in the creation of this absolute masterpiece, earning its place as Perth's second most expensive property sold in 2021.

Sold for $10.25 million by Adam Lenegan of Mack Hall Real Estate in association with Knight Frank, this beachside property is situated on the crest of primary dunes to take full advantage of this awe-inspiring Cottesloe address with panoramic ocean views.

3. 52 Johnston Street, Peppermint Grove

You can find Perth's very own Greece and Rome inspired castle here at 52 Johnston Street. Also selling for $10.25 million, it shares second place as Perth's most expensive property sold in 2021.

As you approach the street frontage of this imposing, pillared mansion, you will understand why Georgian architecture is regarded as the epitome of elegance and style.

This property was sold in February by team Olivia and William Porteous of William Porteous Properties International.
