Jonathan started his career in 1996 as Junior Negotiator with Countrywide Real Estate Group in the UK. At the age of 25, Jonathan was the youngest Senior Manager in the group.
In 2004, Jonathan and Paula Alsford set up their own real estate business, Realty Property Solutions with a laptop, phone, car and growing client database. Over the next 9 years this business grew to be one of the major independent real estate businesses in the area, renowned for providing excellent customer service, delivered with passion and pride. A set of core values underpinned the company and formed the basis for recruitment and retention of a loyal group of staff.
In 2012, the company that Jonathan started his career with, Countrywide Real Estate Group, the largest in the UK, bought Realty Property Solutions. They wanted the market share the company had gained, the reputation of excellent customer service and values the staff promoted.
Jonathan was kept on with the group as a consultant, overseeing Operations in 6 real estate offices across the south of the UK and setting up a further 4 offices, from sourcing the location to fit out and recruitment of staff.
In 2013, Jonathan and Paula re-located to Perth. Wasting no time, Jonathan quickly engaged with the corporate team at Realmark and found synergy with the group’s values and branding. Jonathan is now the Director/Licensee of the Realmark Whitford’s business which he runs with his wife Paula. Their goal? To use the same values and visions that underpinned their first company to build a loyal, hardworking and cohesive staff. To gain market share, have an excellent reputation for customer service and develop sincere relationships within the community they live and work.
