This property has the whole package, a renovated 5-bedroom 3-bathroom home on beautiful acres with the inclusion of a studio apartment and original timber barn. The style of the home being a blend of timber and brick marries beautifully with the aged barn timbers creating that idyllic authentic country property with a twist!

The home has been thoughtfully refurbished throughout, the different levels in the home form visual divisions and a twist of country sophistication! The kitchen with extra-large waterfall marble benchtops, large wood stove and 6 burner gas cooktop gives all year-round cooking options and plenty of space for the chef to work their magic! You will enjoy different spaces all through the home such as the sunken loungeroom nestled around the wood fire, allocated dining area, casual TV zone and quiet living space all encased within large timber windows extending the views to outside, the perfect spot to relax with a wine. Chic light toned flooring creates continuity and a complimentary tone to the darker timbers and with the white walls plus the natural light from the windows offers a simply beautiful ambiance.

All the bedrooms have a characterful appeal whether this is the master bedroom with ensuite and abundance of storage, secondary rooms with magic views, beautiful timber doors and beams, sisal carpet underfoot and a whole lot of elegance, sharing the well-appointed bathrooms. The studio apartment presents a self-contained space of style, new kitchette, updated bathroom and open plan living with the properties landscape as the backdrop. A lucky family member or visiting guest will appreciate the design where it can be closed off from the rest of the home with its own access.

The land with water, mature trees, and paddocks for grazing animals presents an idyllic country lifestyle. Around the home has paved areas for entertaining, with landscaped gardens and expanses of green lawn. Temperate Pemberton weather means misty winter mornings, everchanging landscapes through spring and autumn and golden summers. This is a property that offers so much, that can be expressed but only when visiting will be truly appreciated. A private viewing will impress, this one is exceptional!

Pemberton overview

The townsite of Pemberton is located 335 kilometres south of Perth and 31 kilometres from Manjimup. It is located within the south west forest region, where in 1913 the state government established sawmills, the Number 2 and Number 3 State Sawmills. The area had become known as "Big Brook", but a more distinctive name was soon sought. The name Walcott was first suggested but was rejected by the Post Office, and Mr W.L.Brockman, a famer in the area, then suggested Pemberton, after Pemberton Walcott who was the first settler in the area in 1862.

The name Pemberton was used from 1916. The State Sawmills Department developed a small private town at the mills, but by 1921 there was community agitation for a government townsite to be declared. Although initially sternly resisted by the State Sawmills Department, particularly because it saw it as a way for alcohol to be introduced, community pressure eventually resulted in lots being surveyed in 1925 and the townsite of Pemberton being gazetted in October 1925.
