"With a combined total of over 48,000 views, these homes have captured the attention of home buyers and property enthusiasts alike."

Drum roll please...

It’s time to reveal the top five viewed homes on www.reiwa.com for 2023. With a combined total of over 48,000 views, these homes have captured the attention of home buyers and property enthusiasts alike.

This year’s theme was personal space, with all five homes on land over 1,000 sqm. From architecturally designed residences to a rustic barn-style property with 1890s charm, these dwellings undoubtedly embody the essence of spacious living.

A European-style delight

12 Croydon Street, Nedlands – 15,502 views

Taking the title of Perth’s most viewed property for 2023, this architecturally designed home by renowned architect Brian Klopper well and truly stole the show with nearly 6,000 more views than the second-ranked property. The lucky new owners can bask in the northern light coming through of a morning, with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over native trees. Exposed recycled brick, those soaring black steel-and-glass windows, jarrah framed architraves and an exposed jarrah lofted ceiling....it has all the trademarks of a Klopper home – and so it should, it was his own residence.

Bigger is better

603 Orton Road, Oakford – 9,888 views

Set on over 10 acres, this four-bedroom, three-bathroom family home provides plenty of space for children and pets to play behind a secure gated yard. Natural light floods through to the central living space – which also features a pavillion-style roof with central bush pole – creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The country-style residence is in a prime area, with easy access to local schools, shopping centres and main roads.

First class views over the CBD

11 Grevillea Crescent, Swan View – 9,445

Carved into the hillside with unrivalled panoramic views over the CBD, you can watch the world fly past or host the ultimate party with three levels of entertaining in this striking house. Completed circa 1977/78, it boasts curved walls, wide open voids, split levels and even a circular bed. This is certainly a one-off abode that exudes retro charm. The possibilities for the new owner are endless, to either keep the original aesthetic or to modernise with a nod to the original 70s flair.

The perfect property for horse lovers

35 Little Place, Cardup – 7,232 views

Situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac, this well-presented and renovated four-bedroom home has everything you could possibly need. Set on 5 acres, the property includes a bridle trail nearby, perfect for horse enthusiasts. The five paddocks offer plenty of space for horses to roam, while the enormous shed with three-phase power is ideal for storing equipment and supplies.

An iconic landmark with rustic charm

8 Kiernan Street, Whitby – 6,491 views

Rounding out the top five, ‘Whitby Falls Barns’ is a picturesque property reminiscent of a bygone era. Follow the tracks to the front door, where you're greeted by a perfect blend of history and modern comforts. Constructed in the 1980s as a complementary addition to the neighbouring Whitby Falls Coach House, the barns were originally used to store feed for the local stockfeed supplier. The current house was cleverly designed to mimic the rustic style of the Coach House and seamlessly blend into its charm. It’s no wonder this property made the list.
