What is a park home you ask? Please see my quick notes section at the end of the write-up.
And now let's talk about the home:
Nestled within the Beautiful Discovery Village, and surrounded by other gorgeous park homes, number 38 is the one you won't want to miss!
In short, it's HUGE!
It includes 3 bedrooms, spacious open plan living, 2 toilets and more. We estimate it to be around 100sqm of living space in total which is actually larger than many of the green titled homes we sell throughout Forrestfield.
You get TALL under cover parking and a small shed too, so if you're downsizing, you shouldn't need to compromise too much on space.
You'll still be able to entertain and there are spare rooms for the grandkids :)
Speaking of grandkids, this village shares facilities with the caravan park which gives you access to the playground and swimming pool too!
Some of the fantastic features include:
• Three Bedrooms with built in robes
• Spacious living areas with high raked ceilings
• full size bathroom, full size laundry TWO TOILETS
• Modern contemporary design & COMFORTABLE
• Front porch
• Ducted air-conditioning
• Huge High Clearance Caravan/Car port
• Over 55s (ish)
This is a pet-free village (which sadly doesn't mean you get free pets just to be clear).

A quick note on Park Homes: The Discovery Village in Forrestfield is a hybrid caravan park/park home village. The village part, where number 38 is located, is for permanent residents, generally over 55 (with some exceptions).
The important distinction to note between these homes and typical real estate is that only the house is for sale, but not the land. The land is leased back from the park for approximately $250/week and includes water.
Potential buyers will need to meet with the village management to discuss the lease prior to purchasing the home

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.
Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.
There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
