This elevated property is so close to town, but you wouldn't know it being tucked away at the end of the street with a Karri Forest reserve alongside.

This beautifully presented home presides over 5,000 sqm of land and has lots of space both inside and out with attention to detail everywhere you look.

Offering a beautifully functional kitchen and spacious open plan living, with an entertaining deck that not only enjoys views out towards the inlet but runs along the complete length of the house.

This solid brick home has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and plenty of additional features that only a viewing can be fully appreciated.

Polished Marri timber floors feature over high ceilings with feature lighting offer generous proportions of space and interest.

The kitchen has a split oven, dishwasher, heaps of cupboards and bench space and a well-placed island bench that services the kitchen and the open plan space.

The master bedroom with its ensuite is located on the other side of the home providing a good separation from the others.

Ample use of windows creates a very light and bright feeling throughout the entire home. Add in a slow combustion wood fire and reverse cycle air conditioning and this presents as a very comfortable home indeed.

But it doesn't stop there, the home sits right at the back of the property allowing a good view over your land and beyond.

The garage is accessed via the sealed driveway and is of the same construction as the house. It also includes a lined office with its own access, which is a real bonus.

Both town water and rainwater are on tap, giving you the best of both worlds.

Denmark overview

The townsite of Denmark, located on the south coast 51 kilometres west of Albany, was gazetted a townsite in 1909. It is located on the Denmark River from which it derives its name, the river having been named by the explorer Dr J B Wilson RN in December 1829. Wilson named it the "Denmark" in compliment to his friend Dr. Alexander Denmark R.N. a physician to the fleet. The Aboriginal name "Koorrabup", recorded by Alfred Hillman in 1833, also refers to this area.

Although a townsite was not declared here until 1909, a settlement of this name had existed here for some years previous. A Millars Bros. Timber mill was established on the banks of the river in 1894.
