INCREDIBLE Location + PHENOMENAL home!!

Welcome to your own personal paradise! This super spacious home stands proudly on an elevated 703 square metre block, overlooking the park across the road, where you can watch your kids play while sipping your favourite beverage from a very comfy chair on your front veranda.

This home is truly special. Built in 1983 but way ahead of its time, it manages to incorporate so many features that have become must-haves in all the newest homes. Multiple living areas with super high ceilings, a brilliant kitchen, four great bedrooms plus study/ fifth bedroom and of course, an extra high clearance double garage too! The home has over 220 square metres of internal living area making it particularly spacious, so even the largest of families will be very comfortable here for years to come!

And the outdoors here feels like a resort, with a feature below ground swimming pool, plenty of undercover entertainment space under a beautiful gable patio, plus there is still some lawn area out the back for your little people (or pets) to scamper around on. And the elevation of the block even allows you to see Fremantle from your backyard (up until now I didn't even realise that would be possible in Forrestfield, but it is, and it is awesome!) At night time you can even see the city lights and firework shows from the front veranda.

This isn't just a fantastic home, it's also your key to a fantastic lifestyle too. Only slightly over 200 metres away from Mundy Regional Park, and less than a kilometre from the absolutely stunning Lesmurdie Falls - a once secret Forrestfield treasure that now attracts tourists too in the age of Instagram!

This is the forest side of Forrestfield. The quiet relaxing side where you're still only a 3 minute drive to the centre where the upgraded shopping centre has tasty food options galore, a trip to the city seems ridiculously quick since the completion of the Gateway Project Highway upgrades and you still have the new Train station to look forward to which is opening (they say) in 2021 and is less than 5km away.

This one is a beauty, we know you're going to love it and we can't wait to show you around. Get in touch with the Mitchell Brothers today, your first step towards getting your own set of keys.

Forrestfield overview

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.

Life in Forrestfield

Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.

There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the  Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
