Sales activity decreased five per cent in Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 1,125 transactions.

This can be attributed to a one per cent decline in house sales, a 15 per cent decline in unit sales and a 22 per cent decline in vacant land sales. 

Properties for sale

There were 7,922 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is one per cent less than the previous week. 

A closer look at listing stock levels shows house listings were stable and listings for units and vacant land both increased by one per cent. 

Last week's total figure is on par with levels recorded four weeks ago and are eight per cent lower than a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 2,379 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is one per cent more than the previous week. 

Last week's rental listings figure is seven per cent higher than four weeks ago and 13 per cent lower than the same time last year.

Leasing activity increased two per cent in Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 742 properties leased.
