Some Designs Never Grow Old

Some designs never grow old and this classic mid-century home is no exception.
Inside, it is all about relaxed living. The kitchen opens to the meals area and then out to a delightful East facing atrium. This is a perfect place to enjoy breakfast or chat with friends in the morning sun.
The glass windowpanes of the atrium combined with the floor to ceiling loungeroom window creates a light, informal living space. Updated in all the right places, the laundry is positioned behind doors at the end of the kitchen and is a great space saver. There are two queen size bedrooms and one king size single bedroom with sliding doors to a private courtyard. The master bedroom has a wall to wall built in wardrobe and sideboard cupboards.

Additional features
• slow combustion wood heater
• reverse cycle airconditioner
• under cover entry to the front door from the carport

Comfortable living continues outdoor where the rear of the property is divided into two sections. Behind a fence, canopy trees and established gardens separate the outdoor living area from the driveway and sheds. So, relax a little more with pets and children kept away from the work area and vehicles. The 7.5m x 9m shed with cement floor is equipped with three phase power and is accessed through gates at the top of the driveway.

Narrogin overview

The townsite of Narrogin is located in the great southern agricultural region, 192 km south east of Perth and 32 km east north east of Williams. It is located on the Great Southern Railway, and when this line was opened in 1889, Narrogin was one of the original stopping places. The railway line was a private line, and the Company that built the line declared a private townsite here in 1891. The railway was purchased by the Government in 1896, and in 1897 Narrogin was gazetted as a government townsite.

Narrogin is an Aboriginal name, having been first recorded as "Narroging" for a pool in this area in 1869. The meaning of the name is uncertain, various sources recording it as "bat camp", "plenty of everything" or derived from "gnargagin" which means "place of water".
