Sophisticated Architecture

This unique family home has an acute appreciation for design and a love for sophisticated architectural details. With expert planning, the home has a vast sense of light and space with framed views of the natural bushland and National Park.

The spatial layout is considered and designed to embrace natural light from all rooms and present an open feeling of space and relaxed energy. The material choices are high-end and bold with Alder tapware, Bernini stone, and Mobilia lighting; but are balanced by statement elements like double glazed picture windows and textured panelled walls that add a warmer personal touch.

Ashton street opens with a subtle entrance into a striking open plan living space. The dramatic high ceiling is stunning and is accentuated with textured panels and sleek strip lighting. The impressive galley style kitchen speaks effortless entertaining with endless storage opportunities, spacious stone benchtops, integrated dishwasher, 900ml gas cooktop and 600ml oven. The added breakfast bar counter provides a social focal point for the family.

The eastern wing of the house occupies 4 queen-sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with a double mirrored wardrobe and designed to embrace the natural light and landscape.
The master bedroom is located on the western side of the home and features elegant pendant lighting, a walk-in wardrobe and a dream light ensuite. Luminous oval bathroom mirrors highlight this stunning space, along with Bernini terrazzo tiles and marble mosaics.

A separate lounge room is also located on the western side of the home. The Lopi gas fireplace and stone feature wall is not only visually inspiring, they also offer warmth and comfort all year round. Large pictures windows finish off the area, bringing an element of nature into the home.

Stackers doors open onto the impressive alfresco space with expansive views of the natural bushland and valley. Timber decking and glass fencing highlight the personal oasis created by the heated spa and pool, with the separate sun deck being a viewing platform for the stunning outlook.

This creatively designed home is characterised by simplicity and functionality, from the remarkable front façade to the positioning of the backyard oasis, this home is stylish and oozes perfection throughout. Margaret River overview

The townsite of Margaret River is located in the south west agricultural area, 277 kilometres south southwest of Perth and 48 kilometres south southwest of Busselton. It is located on the Margaret River from which it derives its name. The precise origin of the naming of the river is not known, but it was possibly named by John Bussell in honour of Margaret Wyche, a friend in England who was expected to follow the Bussell's to Australia. The name is first shown on a map of the region published in 1839.

In 1910 the Margaret River Progress Association wrote to the Minister for Lands requesting a townsite be declared at "the Upper Margaret Bridge". The reason given was that "the district is likely to be dotted with public buildings several miles apart in the near future if a townsite is not made available shortly". The District Surveyor who inspected the area preferred an area near the lower bridge on Caves Road, but this land was not available. Lots were surveyed in 1912, and the Townsite of Margaret River gazetted in 1913. In 1918 the name of the townsite was changed to "Margaret", but it was changed back to Margaret River in 1927, due to local usage of the name always being Margaret River.
