Ready to nestle in?
With its contemporary features, higher course ceilings, and light, bright, open-plan living, this cosy, stand-alone residence is the perfect bunker for 2022 and beyond. The well-proportioned kitchen, with its bonus walk-in pantry, is a delight - plentiful storage and bench space, all the mod-cons, and a thoughtful bulkhead so you don’t need to think about crap gathering on the top of your cupboards (!). The spacious main bedroom comes with dual WIR’s and ensuite. Plus there’s a second family bathroom with a separate WC - handy for kids, guests, or dare we say it, home quarantine! Low maintenance courtyard, ducted R/C aircon, double lock-up garage, no strata fees. Winner winner.
Location wise you’re within easy access of Maylands’ Popular social precinct as well as the local shopping centres and Swan River. For transport, you can take the #41 bus on Caledonian Ave to the City (approx 20 mins) or stroll 300m to Guildford Road where you can hop on the #55 instead. Maylands Peninsula Primary School is an approx. 500 walk or ride and it’s only 400m to gorgeous Gibney Reserve - perfect for fur babies if you have them. It might take a while to work through the plethora of local coffee and food options, but we suggest starting with Pizza at Amore Mio or brunch at Nogi Lane. Or order in. Rifo’s have some great deals on Uber Eats.

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.
The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.
Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
