Lifestyle Ease: Mid Century Charm

Waiting patiently on leafy jacaranda-lined Hayward Street in Myaree is a family home filled with happiness. This gorgeous 4 bedroom 2 bathroom street front survey strata home has experience in nurturing growing families, and is looking for new owners to help continue its story.

Upon entering this home, you will be greeted with a sense of comfort and warmth that only grows as you continue throughout. An airy, spacious formal living area at the front of the home enjoys a large west-facing window with dappled natural light filling the space. Original floorboards increase the sense of warmth and character and draw you further in to appreciate an ideal and versatile formal dining room. Timber-framed bi-fold doors serve the dual purpose of allowing even more natural light to filter into the home and - when open - doubling the available space with access to a fully paved and covered patio area. Perfect for entertaining and barbecues with family and friends, or as a safe and secure play area for young children year-round, you will love the opportunity to fully utilise this flexible integrated living space.

The heart of this home is a large, spacious kitchen with island bench, original floorboards, and an abundance of storage. Built for laughter and conversation, enjoy a space with more than enough room to provide for informal family dining. Timber-framed bi-fold windows fill the kitchen with views out to the patio and, when open, allow for seamless entertaining when family and friends drop by, making the most of the fully fenced outdoor area.

Freshly painted, your master suite at the rear of the home is a peaceful oasis which, in addition to a sense of serenity, offers a generous walk-in robe and ensuite. With three additional bedrooms on offer providing a versatility of use and configuration, rest assured that this home will accommodate your needs into the future. A family bathroom offering a bath with overhead rain shower will keep everyone happy. A smaller room adjacent to the master is currently the perfect nursery but could easily be converted into a study or home office if required.

Walking distance to Melville Primary School, local shopping hub and, with Marmion Reserve and duck pond at the end of the street, this is a paradise for growing families. There is so much to explore in this neighbourhood either on-foot, by bike or with your trusty four-legged friend. 8 Hayward Street in Myaree is more than a house - it's more than a home - it's part of a thriving neighbourhood of families. So, take a moment to sit out on your front deck and appreciate making the best possible decision for your family.

Myaree overview

Prior to 1954, the suburb now named Myaree was part of Melville until the Melville Road Board acquired land and planning for an urban residential area in conjunction with an industrial area. The name, Myaree, which is an Aboriginal word meaning 'foliage', was suggested and street names were chosen commemorating men of the district who died on active service in the first world war and old residents who had played an active part in the development of the area.

Life in Myaree

Myaree is home to a retail hub along Leach Highway which includes many major retail outlets and public transport, providing a short journey to Fremantle and Perth City. Other features include seven reserves and parks such as Marmion Reserve, a sporting space with it's own lake with walking path.
