LIFESTYLE FAMILY HOME

If you’ve been searching for a contemporary coastal lifestyle home where your family and friends can recharge, reconnect and relax, this is it!

Adjoining the scenic Dunsborough Lakes Golf Course, this quality Ventura home constructed in 2012 overlooks picturesque, gently undulating grassy slopes and established shade trees – a view that can be enjoyed both indoors and out. Unlike other fairway properties, with this home’s position, set back from the fourth tee, the likelihood of stray golf balls is greatly diminished.

Inside, the inviting, bright and spacious loft home offers plentiful space for everyone to spend time together or enjoy their privacy, thanks to its carefully considered design which creates three distinct zones. Parents will love the luxury of their retreat-style wing, with oversized master bedroom featuring cathedral ceilings, adjoining ensuite, walk-in robe and private study/office or media room. The large home theatre completes this wing.

Guests or children are accommodated in four further bedrooms, one of which could be used as an activity room, family bathroom, handy storage room and a multi-purpose loft – ideal as an art studio or writing space.

With a northerly aspect to the large open plan main living areas, the natural light streams in and adds to the sense of space. There’s space here for family gatherings, meal preparation and also a pool table. Slide back the double doors and step out into the paved alfresco entertaining area to enjoy a shared barbecue dinner, celebratory drinks with friends or some quiet contemplation – the choice is yours.

Soaring ceilings, large windows and a neutral contemporary colour scheme throughout the home offer the perfect setting for any style of furnishings.

This enticing property’s features include:
• Five bedrooms, four complete with built-in robes plus a study/office
• Large multi-purpose loft room
• Roomy home theatre
• Spacious gourmet kitchen with stone benchtops, loads of storage, 900mm wide gas cooktop, dishwasher and a fabulous view
• Plentiful built-in storage spaces

• Auto double garage with internal entry and extra storage space
• Solar hot water with instantaneous gas booster

• Paved path surrounding the whole house
• Large framed nest swing for family fun
• Plenty of room for your children to play in the back yard + room for a pool

The property’s quiet, no-through road location is a huge bonus, and you’re within easy walking distance to local playgrounds, the library, skate park and sporting facilities. It’s also close to Dunsborough town centre for a range of shopping and services, plus local primary schools and of course, the beautiful beaches and pretty parkland lining stunning Geographe Bay.

Dunsborough overview

The townsite of Dunsborough is located on the coast, 12 kilometres southeast of Cape Naturaliste and approximately 19 kilometres of Busselton. It was gazetted as a Townsite in 1879, but land for a townsite was set aside here in the late 1830's, and there is a recorded whale fishery at "Dunsbro" in 1850.

Dunsborough is located adjacent to Dunn Bay from which it derives its name. The bay is believed to have been named by Governor James Stirling , March 1830, whilst on the "Eagle" carrying out a survey of Geographe Bay. It is named after Captain Richard Dalling Dunn, under whom Stirling served on the "Hibernia"120 and the "Armide"38 in 1810-1811 (Stirling named a number of features in Western Australia after naval officers under whom he served or was associated with) When Dunsborough first appeared on a map in 1839 it was spelt "Dunnsbro" but the extra n appears to have disappeared by 1850, and the spelling of "bro" was amended to "borough"when the name was gazetted in 1879.
