What we love
Imagine living so close to Bardon Park and the Swan River that you could almost have a chat with the local ducks every morning! This charming three-bedroom villa, nestled in a serene and impeccably maintained group, offers you a peaceful life yet steps away from the vibrant pulse of Maylands and ten minutes to Perth's CBD.

When you're not out turning kilometres of riverside trails into your personal fitness playground or mingling with the Maylands café society, step into your private garden - sun-drenched and filled with established plants. It's like a day spa for the soul. The inside doesn't disappoint, either. You've got a spacious lounge room to host TikTok dance challenges and a meals area that seamlessly invites the sunshine from your garden. The retro kitchen isn't just a kitchen; it's a time capsule with modern conveniences - gas cooking and oodles of storage.

Home-based workers, artists, and gym enthusiasts alike will appreciate the flexible study space, accessible from outside. Top that off with split-system air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and secure windows and doors, making this villa a comfortable haven throughout all seasons. On the practical side, your errands are a breeze. You're within a duck's waddle from supermarkets, dining hotspots, Maylands Yacht Club, and Edith Cowan University. The new Metronet makes reaching the CBD or Perth Airport as easy as a riverside picnic.

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
