Charming and Comfortable!

This well-presented 4 bedroom brick-and-tile home is as solid as they come and leaves plenty of scope for you to add your own modern personal touches throughout.

The wildcard in the floor plan is a carpeted fourth bedroom with a ceiling fan and its own separate front-yard access, making it the perfect home office too - if you are that way inclined. Also carpeted for comfort is a functional L-shaped front lounge and dining room with access into the fourth bedroom.

A tiled open-plan kitchen, meals and family area is light, bright and comprises of a water-filter tap, a sleek white dishwasher, a range hood, a gas-upright cooker and built-in over-head and under-bench storage and cupboard space. Essentially tripling the amount of living options on offer to you is a huge enclosed games room with split-system air-conditioning, character brickwork and family-room and backyard access.

The larger master is the pick of the sleeping quarters with its walk-in wardrobe and ceiling fan. A spacious and practical bathroom is brilliant in its simplicity and plays host to a shower, vanity, heat lamps and separate bathtub.

Generous outdoor patio entertaining headlines the sprawling rear yard that also features a lawn area and a paved pergola courtyard in the corner. Sit back, relax and unwind here, without a worry in the world.

As far as parking goes, the single-width lock-up carport leaves space behind it for another vehicle to park in tandem. There is even drive-through access beyond that, leading into a lock-up workshop-come-garage with power points and heaps of room for extra storage.

The majestic Dawson Park and Dawson Park Primary School are just around the corner, with the beautiful Juniper Reserve and playground in the opposite direction, but on the same street. Also nearby are the likes of Woodlupine Primary School, the Hawaiian's Forrestfield Shopping Centre, restaurants, medical facilities, bus stops, Forrestfield Public Library and even the Forrestfield Primary School.

The stunning Hartfield Golf Club and gorgeous Hartfield Park playing fields are also within a very close proximity, as are cafes, major arterial roads and the site of the new High Wycombe Train Station - part of the soon-to-be-completed Forrestfield-Airport Link. Location, location, location!

Forrestfield overview

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.

Life in Forrestfield

Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.

There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the  Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
