Bali Style in an Amazing Location

This stunning 4 bed 2 bath home with double garage and 2 alfresco decks is a surprise from the moment you open the front door. Are you in Augusta or Bali? Yes, when you open the front doors you are greeted with a fabulous timber deck Bali style overlooking lush terraced gardens. From here go up the enclosed yet detached stairs and arrive at another semi-enclosed fabulous alfresco timber deck sheltered from the prevailing winds and with glimpses of the river. You are now at the entrance to the main house which has clean lines and finishes including beautiful marri timber floors, wood fire heating and R/C A/C. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances and a good size pantry, an open plan dining and living area is the heart of the home with plenty of room for entertaining family and friends. At the rear of the living area you have 3 good size bedrooms, a modern family bathroom and the master bedroom has a sizeable ensuite and large walk in robe.

The gardens are lush and beautifully landscaped and provide a sense of tranquility. You even have an outdoor hot and cold shower from when you come in from the beach.

The property is wonderfully positioned as you won't need a skipper if you plan to visit the pub as it is a very short stroll and if you prefer a short walk to the start of the foreshore pedestrian path that will take you all the way to the boat harbour. Alternatively, take the fishing rods around the corner to the town jetties and catch a feed.

This is a great opportunity to acquire a modern stylish low maintenance home so you can escape and enjoy our Augusta lifestyle. Don't miss this opportunity, call me now.

Augusta overview

The most south westerly town in the state, Augusta was named by Gov. Sir James Stirling in May 1830. Until 2003 it was thought the name honoured Princess Augusta Sophia, second daughter of King George III and Queen Charlotte. In 2003 the book "James Stirling - Admiral and Founding Governor of Western Australia" a letter by James Turner is referred to which states "a town is purposed to be built named Augusta, County of Sussex, in compliment to the Duke". Princess Augusta Sophia died unmarried, and the "Duke" is most likely the Duke of Sussex, Augustus Frederick (Hanover), the 6th son of George III. He married Lady Augusta Murray in 1793, but the marriage was deemed a violation of the Royal Marriage Act, and was declared null and void in 1794. Lady Augusta Murray is most likely the person after whom Augusta is named.

There is a local shopping centre in the area and two primary schools - Augusta Primary School and Karridale Primary School, with the closest secondary school Margaret River Senior High School.
