Branching from Mindyah Court a laneway offers entry at the back of the property, forming the driveway this leads to a double garage and separate side access.
The home inside features a comfortable country style spread out across two storeys; the lower level encompasses all the sharing spaces with a large open planned living area being the main feature. Cleverly designed the area has a high level of flexibility to suit your style but currently has been arranged to include a lounge and dining.
The adjoining kitchen occupies a corner of the downstairs living area so gets to enjoy a cosy temperature year round with the slow combustion fire and reverse cycle air conditioning nearby; featuring a stainless steel oven and dishwasher amongst the timber effect cabinets this complements the whole space.
Up the wide timber staircase is a second but smaller living area perfect for curling up with a book or having a quiet moment.
There are 3 good sized bedrooms located on the upper floor, each of these has a welcoming feel with polished timber flooring and calming neutral decor; the main bedroom features a mirror door built in robe and reverse cycle air con, whilst another includes an adjoining study and another air con. That's three air conditioners in total!
A large laundry, tastefully decorated bathroom and separate W.C are all located together, hard wearing flooring smartly has been used for 'easy care' and floor to ceiling tiling gives the bathroom a unique touch.
Helping to power you through the year is a 16 panel solar unit, the home also features instant gas hot water.
With plenty more outside you'll find there is a approximate 5x6m double garage with storage space, paved or under cover sitting areas and space to add in some self sustaining veggie patches.
The Town Centre zoning means there is potential for multiple uses subject to approvals, combined with the convenience of being only a few minute's walk from almost all the amenities you could need and the Railway Heritage walk trail there is plenty on offer. Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
