THE TIME TO $TRIKE IS NOW - 2.5 acres this close to Perth

Discover an estate that offers the best of both worlds a rural environment with city convenience only a 30 minute drive away and poised in a commanding position on the ridge of the City of Kalamunda's escarpment covering 2.5 acres of natural native land. It's the ultimate family escape from the high density lifestyles of the city without compromising on city convenience. Prime positions and blocks of this size are a finite opportunity and an amazing future investment.

There has been talk and proposed concepts (not yet approved) of rezoning this area one day and if it becomes available the existing family home sits to one corner of the block making future subdivision if it happens become a very attractive proposition too. However for those who just appreciate the growing trend of space around you your going to love this estate. Beyond its natural bushland environment this handsome family home is enveloped by established gardens and sprawling lawn just perfect for kids.
The home boasts impressive interior architecture that flows with the land and captures the very essence of this stunning locality. Natural light dances into this home effortlessly and a large hexagonal shaped lounge room with huge floor to ceiling windows offers a 180 degree view over neighbouring bushland and teasing coastal glimpses and night lights. The homes clever three split level design integrates and separates all at the same time giving each living zone its own individuality yet it flows freely from one zone to the next. Incorporated in this design is a well appointed Granite and solid timber kitchen with the open plan dining area and the very upper level houses all four bedrooms and both bathrooms.

Outdoor entertaining is both expansive and exciting with a huge paved patio and alfresco area that interconnects directly from the homes living areas taking advantage of that gorgeous outlook across the skyline and bushland. A perfect setting for Summer sundowners and family functions. In addition to the double garage under the main roof a separate powered 9m x 6m workshop is ideal for the family tradie or hobby enthusiast.
Ideally suited to the families who want to get a foothold into acreage at an attractive entry point price this is one opportunity not to be missed.

Maida Vale overview

This area was first settled in 1873 by William Henry Mead. He built a home in the Ridge Hill area, and established an orchard named "Orangedale". The name of Maida Vale was chosen as the district name by a public meeting of local residents in 1910, and comes from the property name of another early settler, Mr W H McCormack. It is assumed that the name was derived from that of the west London suburb of this name, which in turn is named after Maida (S. Pietro di Maida) in Calabria, Italy. The British Army defeated the French there in 1806, and in commemoration of the victory Maida Hall and Maida Vale were named.

Life in Maida Vale

Within the suburb there is a primary school, Maida Vale Primary School, a golf course, numerous parks/ovals, small shops, and a heated swimming pool. Maida Vale retains areas of natural bushland and is not completely built-up with housing.
