Ultimately Awesome!
Side access, a unique one-of-a-kind design, and a secret room… These are just 3 of the MANY reasons you will want this home!

Not only is number 63 Dawson avenue one of the rare 1970's Forrestfield 3 bedroom homes with a second bathroom - but it also has a really cool design rich in character and charm.

The main living area is truly beautiful, and you'll probably have the "ah-ha we've found it" moment as you enter, because I did, and then had to remind myself that I'm not actually looking for a new home at the moment.

The kitchen is central and overlooks the terrific gabled patio party area which is also accessed from the architecturally splendid front lounge area.

One bathroom is freshly renovated and the second bathroom has a SPA!! And a secret room (which could also be reconverted back to being the walk in robe for bedroom 3 if you so desired, which would give you a second room with semi ensuite access).

The BIG backyard is a massive canvas of potential. Enjoy the spacious lawn area, or take full advantage of the side access by building a bigger shed. There is room for a pool or granny-flat too.

Furthermore, the R20/30 zoning also gives this property sub-division potential too!

Location wise, this home is only a 425 metre walk to Woodlupine Primary School, which is a great school and we know it, because all the Mitchell Brothers went there and there are hardly any spelling mistakes in this ad :-D

Walk a little bit further through the park beyond the school and you'll soon be at Hawaiians Forrestfield, a beautiful shopping centre with all the essentials and some tasty restaurants too.

Or head towards the other direction and after a brief 200 metre walk from your front door you'll be able to enjoy a BBQ at Juniper Lake!

This is, as you'll be starting to realise, a thoroughly awesome home - but in a market like this you'll probably need to be quick. Get in touch with The Mitchell Brothers today!

Forrestfield overview

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.

Life in Forrestfield

Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.

There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the  Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
