Everything You Wanted, Plus a 12m x 6m three-phase powered Workshop!

Are you looking for a house with THE Workshop? If you've been searching for that elusive home that not only ticks all the boxes but also has those couple of extra things that you don't normally get in the one package, then this is it!

The main feature is undoubtedly the amazing outdoor entertaining area with its unique eight-seater table and multi-sided slow combustion fire as its centrepiece which leads into the 'Great Room'; meaning family and friendly gatherings can always be on the cards, regardless of the weather conditions.

Other additional features include:
• Side access to a 12m x 6m three-phase powered Workshop with fully operational CAR HOIST
• Brick & tiled home with rendered external walls
• Three bedrooms with solid floor boards
• Upgraded bathroom with freestanding vanity, semi frameless shower and a separate toilet
• Recently replaced ducted evaporative air conditioning, internal & external slow combustion fire places plus reverse cycle split-system unit in living room
• Solar PV system, 1500 litre rain water tank for gardens, instantaneous hot water system and much more...
• Set on a generous 690sqm corner block, there's plenty of off street parking in preparation for the constant stream of visitors you will attract
• Close to schools, shops, Lesmurdie falls and Whistlepipe Gully bush walks

Besides being a short drive to the airport (great for FIFOs), there is close by access to Tonkin and Roe Highways which are part of the newly completed 1 billion dollar Gateway Project - the biggest road infrastructure project in WA history and so getting anywhere is a breeze now with little to no traffic lights. With the Australian Bureau of Statistics forecasting Perth's population to more than double to 3.8 million by 2050, urban sprawl will ensure that prices can only go one way for areas close by to this level of infrastructure and amenities.

Forrestfield overview

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.

Life in Forrestfield

Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.

There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the  Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
