CENTRAL AND CONVENIENT

Are you looking to downsize or looking to simplify your lifestyle? Located exceptionally close to the bustling heart of the Mundaring village you’ll be minutes away from a variety of shops and services, good food and drink, public transport and activities such as the twilight market in Jacoby Park, walks along the Heritage Trail or cycling the Munda Biddi Trail.

- Central location brimming with convenience
- Well maintained 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit
- 79sqm inside living with large rooms
- Good sized kitchen with electric cooking & adjoining laundry with storage
- Reverse cycle & evaporative air conditioning
- Single carport
- Front and rear courtyards
- Located close to Jacoby Park & walk/cycle trails
- Quick & easy access to shops, cafes, and services

The small community of seven units is an appealing sight with established gardens and a shared bitumised driveway along one side; unit 6 is ideally positioned near the back offering some added privacy with a front courtyard and carport plenty wide enough for a larger car.

The home inside feels nice and spacious with a logical 79sqm design of fewer but larger rooms; a semi-open configuration of a front lounge room and rear dining flows through to an adjoining kitchen and internal laundry. The lounge features reverse cycle air conditioning but the ducted evaporative unit vents into most rooms.

The U-shaped kitchen has a newer appeal with timber effect doors and a contrasting light bench top, this area is well utilised but should you want to expand there is overhead wall space for further cabinets or the potential to remodel the adjoining laundry.

The master bedroom is generous with a built-in robe, and a window roller shutter for extra privacy. The two bedrooms share a bathroom with vanity, shower and separate toilet.

Enjoy your morning tea or coffee in the rear courtyard, but if getting out-and-about is more your thing you’ll be happy to know there are cafes, restaurants and plenty of nature within a short walk of your front door.

Mundaring overview

Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
