A Beach and Bathers Kind of Lifestyle!

Nestled literally footsteps away from the golden sands and glorious surf of North Beach lies this fantastic 2 bedroom 1 bathroom ground-floor apartment in the corner of the complex, suited to a range of potential buyers due to its prime position within the building – and on the coast.

A stylish bathroom-come-laundry has already been renovated. There, quality tiling complements plenty of natural light due to a pleasant north-facing aspect, whilst a stainless-steel wash trough precedes a large shower, twin vanities and built-in under-bench storage.

Both bedrooms are carpeted for comfort, inclusive of a huge master that also enjoys the luxury of built-in wardrobes. The spacious living room is also carpeted and is nice and cool during those hot summer months.

It even has access to an enclosed sunroom that is ideal for private entertaining and will keep you nice and warm in the winter – especially when the sun starts to drop over the western windows in the afternoon. The sunroom also has its own separate access door from the rear, doubling as a second entrance into the apartment.

An impeccably-tiled dining area seamlessly connects with the adjacent kitchen, where you will find plenty of over-head and under-bench cupboard storage, as well as a Venini electric cooktop, an electric Baumatic oven and a stainless-steel Everdure range hood. Out front and only metres away from your front door is your own allocated single carport bay, along with several visitor-parking spaces for when friends and family come over to say hello.

Just next door, you have all the conveniences of North Beach Shopping Centre, fantastic restaurant food at Tom’s Italian and the chance to grab a coffee while experiencing the most magical of panoramic ocean views. The majestic walking trails of the picturesque “Class A” Star Swamp Bushland Reserve can be found in the opposite direction, with the vibrant Flora Terrace precinct around the corner impressing you with its array of cafes, eateries, medical facilities and bus stops – all only strolling distance away.

North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace Primary School are both nearby, as are the sprawling Charles Riley Memorial Reserve playing fields, Trigg Point, Mettams and Hamersley Pools, the newly-look Karrinyup Shopping Centre redevelopment, other top educational facilities and even Hillarys Boat Harbour, a little further north. You will quickly find that living here is an absolute breeze – and in more ways than one!

North Beach overview

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.

Life in North Beach

Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
