First home, downsizer, tree-changer, or investor who knows a good thing when they see it this is the sweet cottage that quietly delivers on everything that matters. Set on a spacious block and facing out to bushland, here life slows right down. Mornings with coffee and birdsong, actual room to roam for the kids, and weekends that feel like you've escaped without ever leaving town. The practical, floorplan just works - two bedrooms, one bathroom, easy flow. And yes, its leaning towards original. No cut-price renovations, no makeover cover-ups, so no inflated price tag that tries to recoup someone else's idea of an upgrade. Just honest value, and the chance to shape a lovely home into something that feels completely yours.
Inside, this is cottage loveliness made simple, functional, and full of potential. The living area connects easily through to the kitchen, creating a central hub where everything happens, from weeknight dinners to lazy Sunday mornings. Two split system air conditioners keep things comfortable year-round, taking the edge off both the Summer heat and our crisp Winters. The kitchen and bathroom are neat and original, doing exactly what they need to do today while offering clear possibilities for the future. Both bedrooms are well-proportioned, giving you flexibility whether you're setting up for family life, guests, or a work-from-home setup that doesn't take over the entire house. This isn't a home asking you to rip everything out on day one. Its a home that lets you breathe, settle in, and upgrade at your own pace; a coat of paint, new finishes, or a future renovation when the time feels right. Until then, its completely liveable, comfortable, and ready to go.
Features Include:
• Cute character cottage on large block facing bushland
• 2 good-sized bedrooms and study
• 1 neat bathroom
• High ceilings
• Split system air conditioning

A full 1,029sqm with rear vehicle access means space for everything; tradie gear, trailers, weekend toys, or that future workshop you've been talking about for years. The rear sheds are already in place, giving you practical storage from the day you move in. The yard itself is a canvas in the best possible way; room for veggie gardens, fruit trees, cubby houses, a firepit zone, or whatever else you can dream up. Out the front, the bush-facing aspect brings a sense of calm and privacy that's getting harder to find, anchoring the home in nature while keeping you connected to the heart of the townsite. Walk to school drop-offs, local shops, and community spaces, then come home to your own pocket of space and sky.
Start simple. Create something special.

The townsite of Wundowie is located in the Darling Range 72 kilometres east northeast of Perth and 31 kilometres west southwest of Northam. It is located adjacent to the original railway track from Perth to Northam, and in 1907 the Railways Department applied for a name for a newly constructed siding at the 53 Mile between Werribee and Karrijine. The name Wundowing was suggested by the Lands Department, and this was shortened to Wundowi by the Surveyor General.
