Live the Dream. Sweeping 180 degree ocean views on one side with bushland on the other in your own 5-acre Paradise. Surrounded year-round by colourful wildflowers, native Kangaroo Paws, Banksias and evergreen Christmas Trees, your neighbours are far enough away for privacy, but close enough for a feeling of community.

The home's unique, triple-wing layout provides a spacious living area in one wing with semi-private bedrooms in another. In the third wing, an office allows working parents extra privacy away from the main living area. Attached to the third wing is a double-car garage.

Located in the Jurien Bay hills area, less than 10 min from the emerald Indian Ocean and Jurien Bay's cafes, you're an easy drive to the endless, unspoilt beaches, fishing, cray fishing, boat ramps, mariner, the Jurien Bay Airport, the Islands of Jurien Bay, Drovers Cave National Park and an 18 hole golf course at the Jurien Bay Country Golf Club.

The home's distinctive design features solid, double-limestone and brick walls. The front of the house is completely surrounded by verandas, with large sail shades extending over the western exposure, designed particularly to shield you from the summer sun while allowing the cool sea breezes pass through. The perfect setup for afternoon drinks with friends, with neighbours--or with no one--while you prepare to watch the spectacular sunsets.

The large kitchen features a double-height ceiling with passive solar heating. Two sets of French doors welcome you and your guests to the Lounge Room. One set of doors leads through to the entrance hall and the activity room. The second set of doors leads to the master bedroom in the outer wing. In the third wing, the guest bedroom features a bathroom with an elegant cast iron bath and laundry. All bedrooms have built-in robes.

The spacious, air-conditioned master bedroom suite is furnished with walk-in robes, en suite and its own study. An ideal set-up for parents who like a bit of privacy and working space away from the main part of the house.

This rare find is a MUST SEE.

Jurien Bay overview

The townsite of Jurien Bay is located on Jurien Bay, 266 kilometres north northwest of Perth. The bay, from which the townsite derives its name was named on July 1st 1801 by the French expedition under Captain Baudin. The name honours Charles Marie, vicomte Jurien, 1763-1836, a French naval administrator. Early maritime history of Jurien Bay includes visits by Captain Philip Parker King in the brig "Bathurst" in 1822, Lt. William Preston in the hired cutter "Colonist" in 1830 and J W Gregory in the schooner "Thetis" in 1847-8. The bay was first surveyed by James Harding, Harbour Master of Fremantle, in 1865, and a more extensive survey was made by Staff Commander W E Archdeacon R.N. in 1875.

The first evidence of interest in development at Jurien Bay was when a reserve for Shipping and Landing was declared here in 1887. A church site reserve for the Church of England was gazetted in 1930, and a church erected in late 1931. The church was demolished by the Army in early 1942 because it was of landmark value (of possible aid to a Japanese landing!).
