What we love
Privately positioned to the rear and boasting its very own driveway, this quality-built 4 bedroom 2 bathroom plus study home spans two impressive levels and offers stylish low-maintenance modern living, directly opposite the majestic “Class A” Star Swamp Bushland Reserve. Embrace both Mother Nature and a functional free-flowing floor plan at the very same time here, with the residence playing host to a spacious and carpeted parents’-retreat area upstairs. Also on the upper level – and carpeted for comfort – is a huge master-bedroom suite with sweeping tree-lined views to wake up to, a fitted walk-in wardrobe and a sumptuous ensuite bathroom to pamper yourself in, comprising of a rain shower, a sleek stone vanity and a separate bathtub for good measure.
A carpeted activity room services the minor sleeping quarters, whilst the commodious lounge room – or potential home office – off the entry is also carpeted under foot and can be shut off for complete peace and quiet. A separate carpeted theatre room makes it three extra living zones – and that’s before you’re even introduced to a huge open-plan family, dining and kitchen area with integrated audio ceiling speakers, a gas bayonet for heating, timber-look flooring, funky pendant lights, sparkling stone bench tops, a breakfast bar for casual meals, sleek white cabinetry, glass splashbacks, a stainless-steel dishwasher and classy electric range-hood, hotplate and oven appliances. Off here, outdoor access to a magnificent covered alfresco-entertaining space is rather seamless and reveals a ceiling fan, audio speakers in each corner, attractive decking and an amazing built-in kitchen with a barbecue, drinks fridges and more. The lovely backyard is dominated by care-free artificial turf and leaves more than enough room for a future swimming pool, if you are that way inclined. The complete family package beckons.
What to know
The spare bedrooms all have built-in robes and are serviced by a separate shower and bathtub within the main family bathroom. Accompanying a multitude of living and entertainment options are a long list of extras, including a timber-lined portico entry deck, a feature front door, ground-level linen storage, ducted air-conditioning, internal profile doors, down lights, easy-care gardens, a double lock-up garage and ample driveway parking space preceding it.
Hop, skip or jump to the beach from here as well, with only metres separating your front door from the vibrant Flora Terrace strip just one street back – home to some of the west
coast’s best cafes and restaurants, as well as the local icons of Mister D’Arcy and Yelo. The local dog beach, North Beach Shopping Centre, lush local parklands, excellent schools and public-transport options are also nearby, whilst a short commute north to Hillarys Boat Harbour is rather pleasant, especially if you take West Coast Drive. Don’t forget about public and private golf courses, the amazing new-look Karrinyup Shopping Centre precinct, the revamped Scarborough Beach esplanade and even the freeway. Coastal perfection really does exist!

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.
Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
