Old "Freo" Charm in Kalbarri - REDUCED

Let's take a moment to reminisce about craftsmanship of a time gone by, well pick that up and place it in Smith Street and you have this 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom character cottage with polished Jarrah floorboards, ornate high ceilings and decorative features throughout.
The classical entry statement has 2 large bedrooms branching off before leading you through to the impressive kitchen/dining area with loads of cupboard space and a view to the large lounge/family room.
Step through to the next level and you have the third bedroom, laundry and well appointed bathroom complete "of course" with claw foot bath.
Entertaining is a breeze on the rear timber deck that overlooks the massive back yard with raised vegetable/garden beds plus quaint garden shed and impressive sized gazebo which is a perfect spot to supervise the activity on the built in trampoline.
With a land area of 956sqm the frontage is 26 metres which give you loads of parking room plus carport and garage AND R30 zoning means the uses allowed are only limited by your imagination and Shire approval of course.

Kalbarri overview

Kalbarri is a coastal resort and fishing town, 589 km north north west of Perth. It is located at the mouth of the Murchison River, the area becoming popular in the late 1940s as a tourist and fishing resort. In 1948 the government decided to declare a townsite here, and following the survey of lots the townsite was gazetted in 1951.

The name of Kalbarri was chosen from a list of Aboriginal words compiled by Daisy Bates in 1913. It is a man's name from a Murchison tribe, and also the name of an edible seed. The Aboriginal name for the area of Kalbarri has been recorded as "Wurdimarlu".
