Complemented by light décor and on-trend pendant lights - this home is stylish AND practical!

The fantastic living area features a slow combustion fireplace and ducted evaporative air conditioning for optimal comfort come rain, hail or shine. A large island breakfast bar continues into the wonderful kitchen that boasts a walk-in pantry, dishwasher and stainless steel extra-wide electric oven and gas cooktop.

To the right of the formal entry are double doors to the parents’ retreat. Designed as the formal lounge, it offers itself as a fantastic third living space that can be designated to 'adults only' for a sweet spot of peace and quiet at the end of a hectic day. A large study adjoins the formal lounge, creating a generous space for those that wish to work from home, or it could make for a fantastic nursery.

Located behind the formal lounge and study is the master suite for sought-after separation from the junior wing. Superbly spacious, the master features a large walk-in robe and ensuite that's complete with a large vanity, shower and toilet.

From the open plan living hub, a timber framed French door leads through to the junior wing. This third living space offers itself as a fantastic activity zone or teen retreat to satisfy kids of all ages. All four junior bedrooms are generously sized, and they share the family bathroom that's complete with a deep bath. A separate toilet sits beside the large walk-through laundry that boasts double built-in linen cupboards for ample storage.

With verandahs surrounding the home for that traditional Australian homestead feel, a large entertaining alfresco extends from the front. With an elevated outlook into the trees, it flows from the fire pit to the adjoining grass play area for ample space to entertain all your friends and family.

Tucked behind the home is a large, powered workshop and smaller storage shed for bikes and bulky items like the Christmas tree. Surrounded by gravel yard and screened by tall timber, there is room to park all your trailers and boats. The list continues! This super accessible corner property additionally features a large fruit tree orchard and chook run, plus a greenhouse with raised vegetable beds so you can cook up a feast for your big family with produce from your very own backyard!

Mundaring overview

Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
