UNIQUE HOME

Connected pods and private courtyards have come together, creating an exciting home with a light-filled north eastern aspect from all areas. The unique design provides the family with a plentiful amount of space and privacy.

2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus a king-sized master suite occupy the middle of the home. Bedroom 1 features a private ensuite with a sitting room that opens out onto a secluded courtyard. External access from the front of the home via a paved pathway allows this space to be perfect for a B & B.

Bedroom 2 is a queen-sized room with outside access and a separate bathroom with a freestanding bath and shower. The spacious master suite is perfect for a king-sized bed and lounge, with the sliding doors opening up onto a secluded decking area. The ensuite features a separate bath, shower and toilet.

Walking through into the lounge room, the space is light-filled and inspiring. The garden room, which effectively brings together the lounge and living space, is an outdoor living area that has been completely enclosed in glass with sliding doors. The unique space features high ceilings and polished concrete flooring, with sliding doors leading out onto the timber deck.

The beguiling galley style kitchen and living space occupy the 3rd pod of the home. Light Corian benchtops are the perfect contrast for the dark soft closing cupboards and drawers. Endless storage opportunities, stainless-steel appliances, and a sleek induction cooktop finish this kitchen off beautifully. A butler's pantry is home to the general day to day items, with the spacious laundry being adjacent. A separate door leading to the outside garden allows easy access to the vibrant herb and vegetable gardens.
The entire northeastern side of the home has been designed and built with natural light in mind. Lined with tinted glass and sliding doors, each private area features timber decking with a peaceful garden outlook. Low maintenance gardens flourish with a combination of Birch and fruit trees; vibrate vegetable and herb boxes finish off this edible landscape.

Privacy and seclusion from every aspect have been carefully considered with this unique design. It has captured the relaxed casual lifestyle the Southwest provides perfectly and is only a 5-minute drive into Margaret River town centre; making it the perfect family home.

Margaret River overview

The townsite of Margaret River is located in the south west agricultural area, 277 kilometres south southwest of Perth and 48 kilometres south southwest of Busselton. It is located on the Margaret River from which it derives its name. The precise origin of the naming of the river is not known, but it was possibly named by John Bussell in honour of Margaret Wyche, a friend in England who was expected to follow the Bussell's to Australia. The name is first shown on a map of the region published in 1839.

In 1910 the Margaret River Progress Association wrote to the Minister for Lands requesting a townsite be declared at "the Upper Margaret Bridge". The reason given was that "the district is likely to be dotted with public buildings several miles apart in the near future if a townsite is not made available shortly". The District Surveyor who inspected the area preferred an area near the lower bridge on Caves Road, but this land was not available. Lots were surveyed in 1912, and the Townsite of Margaret River gazetted in 1913. In 1918 the name of the townsite was changed to "Margaret", but it was changed back to Margaret River in 1927, due to local usage of the name always being Margaret River.
