A paved path edged with gardens leads to the home’s main entrance and living area. The interiors feature a clean, minimal palette balanced with warm materials. A beautifully light living space – grounded by the soft tone and texture of timber-look floors – flows to connect with a renovated kitchen and private deck overlooking the backyard. The family room features dual-aspect glazing, white walls and an elect fire creating a focal point. Two openings to the kitchen create a seamless flow.
The expertly renovated kitchen boasts stone bench tops and a central island with a breakfast bar, a 900 mm oven and a dishwasher. Ample storage space is provided by an array of deep, under-bench drawers and cabinets, and a window set behind the ceramic farmhouse sink frames views of the backyard. Direct access to the sheltered alfresco dining area allows for easy indoor-outdoor living.
There are three bedrooms, each with new carpet and two with built-in robes. They share the modern, renovated bathroom – a delightful space with a walk-in shower, large white tiles on the walls and a stylish ceramic basin. There is a separate WC off the well-designed and well-appointed walk-through laundry.
A side gate leads to the fully fenced backyard, an expanse of lawn with established fruit trees, a shed and a separate paddock along the rear boundary. It is this green idyll that provides a backdrop to outdoor dining on the sheltered deck.

Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
Known as the heart of the Perth hills, Mundaring is located on the eastern edge of the Perth Hills. It offers stunning walking and cycling trails, spectacular state forest and national parks and home to the historic Mundaring Weir. Other facilities include two primary schools (Sacred Heart School and Mundaring Primary School) and one secondary school (Mundaring Christian College).
