Big roomy old style 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home set in super location just an easy stroll to central Kelmscott shopping district and train station. Sleepy no through road and right across from the Canning River too.
Boasting real big rooms, lashings of timber skirting and architraves, open fire and a very friendly design. Nearly all rooms, including the bedrooms have a door opening to the outside. (quite innovative for the era). The kitchen, bathroom, light fittings and decor are all original and will take you right back in time. They are all pretty good nick so no need to change a thing, just embrace the yesteryear vibe.
Plenty of features here too. R/C air conditioning, security screens, built in robes to all double sized bedrooms, slow combustion wood heater (in addition to the open fire) and a powered workshop down back about 4 x 5 m.
The garden is huge and has access down both sides. Ideal for a bigger workshop or just for the kids to play, a rare notion with the new blocks less than half this size nowadays. Still on the garden, it has magnificent established plants including Camellias, large healthy looking citrus trees and others.
Lets not forget the zoning here. It's R 15/40 and on a huge 1186 block connected to deep sewer. You do the numbers. Enjoy now and invest for the future.
There is some paint and carpets required to bring this character home back to its peak. You do the work, and you reap the rewards.
If you yearn for space , quality and prime location this is it. But be quick they are hard to find.

Kelmscott is a mixed-use residential, industrial, rural and commercial suburb located 25 kilometres southeast of Perth. The suburb was one of the very early towns established in the Swan River Colony and was named after Kelmscott, Oxfordshire, the birthplace of the first Anglican clergyman in the colony, Thomas Hobbes Scott (1783–1860). Established in 1830, Kelmscott's most rapid growth period was in the 1960s and 1970s.
Though close to the lively Armadale City Centre, Kelmscott is a quiet suburb nestled among the numerous parks and reserves that pepper its landscape. The Kelmscott Town Centre is the main commercial sector with the Kelmscott Plaza and Stargate Kelmscott Shopping Centre all located here. There is also a railway station and four local schools in Kelmscott.
