It’s the perfect backdrop to the next story of your life. No filter required. White picket fence. Sun-kissed party deck. Stunning traditional features. And a luxuriously sized living room with an ornate fireplace, fit for an Insta Queen. Or an onsite photoshoot. It’s so big it deserves its own geotag. You’ll swoon over the king-sized main bedroom, with its wall-to-wall built-in robes. Plus there’s a gorgeous second bedroom in case of any outfit overflow. A great-sized casual dining area, renovated kitchen, bathroom (with bath), and study/Bed 3 all sit snugly at the rear of the residence. If you’re working from home or planning a cosy day in, you’re sorted. That said, when you’re this close to Perth’s best social precincts, cooking and meal prep is optional. Order in and spend the time planning your reels instead. #PerthIsOk
Location wise you’re directly opposite tree-lined Charles Street Reserve, just 100m from Guildford Road and approx 5.5km from the City. Meltham Station is an easy 800m stroll and the start of the Maylands social precinct is within 850m. Local faves Pizza Amore Mio and Garden Cafe on Guildford are just 300m away around the corner. Coles is 550m down the road if you need it, as is Maccas if you’ve got the late-night munchies and craving a fix of fries. Word on the street is that Woolies is coming soon too. In the meantime, you can click and collect at the new Inglewood one instead. The new gelateria that’s just opened there is pretty sweet - I recommend the hazlenut. #Perthstagram #PerthEats #BeaufortStreet

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.
The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.
Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
