Affordable Beachside Opportunity!

This is the kind of home where life will just be that little bit easier. Perfect for every stage of family life, find a spacious, neat and low-maintenance property, minutes on foot to local schools, huge parks and at just a five-minute drive to Quinn’s Beach. The coastal lifestyle is yours for the taking!

With four good-sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, ducted reverse cycle air conditioning, a paved and covered alfresco perfect for entertaining and a spacious kitchen, this home offers young families space and comfort in a welcoming community.

At the front of the home, find a formal, carpeted living room, ideal for get togethers or a quiet space to relax at the end of the day, while at the rear, daily life will be centred around a bright and airy living, kitchen and dining space overlooking the sunny terrace and alfresco. A spacious main bedroom features walk-in robes and an ensuite with a shower, vanity and WC, while the three minor bedrooms have their own family-sized bathroom with separate shower, bath, vanity and WC.

The designated home cook will appreciate how much bench space the kitchen offers, alongside a gas stove top, electric oven, double sinks and range hood. Keep an eye on the kids in the adjoining casual living and dining area with smart laminated timber flooring and cosy up to a gas fireplace on long winter nights.

There’s plenty of character in the rear terraced and pebbled garden, lovingly maintained with raised limestone garden beds, a super private atmosphere perfect for barbecues and sunset drinks, a covered, paved alfresco and limestone-paved outdoor seating area. Out the front, come home to a wide grassy front verge, a long driveway for multiple vehicle parking and a covered carport with direct, fenced rear terrace access.

Kids and parents alike will love the fact that Alkimos Baptist College is a five-minute walk away, Orara Park is two minutes’ walk, Clarkson Train Station is accessed by car via Mitchell Freeway in less than ten minutes, and – of course – Perth’s northern beaches are on your doorstep.

Merriwa overview

The name originally proposed for this suburb by the Shire of Wanneroo was 'Hester' after one of the first land owners in the vicinity. This was approved in 1980, but the name was opposed by Australia Post on account of duplication. Because of this the Shire of Wanneroo proposed the name Merriwa (an Aboriginal word for 'a good place'). The name was approved in 1980.
