STUNNING VIEWS FROM AN AWESOME HOME

This has to be one of the most extraordinary homes on the market anywhere in the hills. With a spectacular view across the Brookton Valley and out towards the city, this is the ultimate home for living and is sure to be the premium choice for anyone who loves that casual everyday-entertaining kind of lifestyle.

Set on almost half an acre, this is a beautifully landscaped property where all the heavy lifting and shifting has been done, and now it's time for the new owner to enjoy the fruits of somebody else's labour.

INSIDE
The kitchen is the heart of everything in this home and it's an absolutely brilliant design for comfortable family living. The enormous central island bench features a breakfast bar and is integral to the functionality of life in this home. The togetherness that this configuration inspires is a wonderful element of what is built into this home.

The meals area and lounge room are both very well designed and attractive. The polished concrete floor through the entrance, kitchen and meals area is low maintenance and looks absolutely superb. The lounge room has an atmosphere of warmth, and the gas log fire near creates a wonderful ambience.

The bedrooms are all of a good size; the master bedroom is at the front of the home and has plenty of space for larger furniture styles and offers a walk-in robe and ensuite bathroom.

Bedrooms two, three, and four all have built-in robes and will accommodate queen size beds. There is so much to love about this arrangement, and you can pick your two favourite kids to occupy the bedrooms with the views... If you've got one that goes out early or comes home late, they can take bedroom number four with its separate entrance from the front of the home. Bedroom five can be whatever you want to be; maybe it's a study, maybe it's an activity room, maybe it's a bedroom, or maybe it's a special extra space for the kid that didn't get the views... check out the floor plan, you'll see it's got some options!

OUTSIDE
You could spend a lot of hours just standing on this patio, looking at the view, but there's not much point in doing that in this written form. I'll tell you a few things; it has exposed aggregate concrete, it has heaps of room for entertaining, it has a stunning view, and it has drop-down blinds to be usable all year long.

Head down a few steps, and we find the stunning 14-metre lap pool. The timber decking and gardens around this area make it as good to look at as it is the swim in, and it's sure to be another hugely appealing reason for all the friends and family to want things to happen at your place.

We are up a hill, so obviously, this is not a flat block, but the retaining and landscaping around this garden have created beautiful, flat, functional spaces. The gardens are extraordinary, and at the very bottom of the yard, we find a lovely lawn area for the kids and pets to enjoy. There's ample parking here as well, with the double carport and loads of room at the front of the house. Even the verge has been designed for extra parking, which with views and entertaining areas as good as this, you're bound to need.

WHERE IT IS
Set high on the hill where you can see so much, this property still has a feeling of seclusion. As away from things as it seems, it is truly so close to so much. You're just minutes from the town centre and it's also super close to public transport, with the bus stop not far away. Just a little further up the street, around the corner, and around the other corner, we have superb restaurants and cafes… It's a wonderful place to live.

Kelmscott overview

Kelmscott is a mixed-use residential, industrial, rural and commercial suburb located 25 kilometres southeast of Perth. The suburb was one of the very early towns established in the Swan River Colony and was named after Kelmscott, Oxfordshire, the birthplace of the first Anglican clergyman in the colony, Thomas Hobbes Scott (1783–1860). Established in 1830, Kelmscott's most rapid growth period was in the 1960s and 1970s.
