This beautiful home has not been renovated to sell; it has been completely recrafted from top to bottom as a long-term dream home. But plans have changed, and now this wonderful property, set on close to half an acre, is available to buy.
Located smack in the middle of Mundaring, you can walk to the shops, parks, pubs, and markets. It is literally the epitome of a perfect downsizer. With an easy-care block with a smattering of beautiful gums, it is also picture perfect from the street as it's set so far back for quietness.
After buying this somewhat tired home, the owners removed major walls, pulled down all the ceilings, and ripped out the bathroom, kitchen and laundry. Using local experts and tradesmen, they rebuilt it into this a 3-bedroom beauty. It is light, modern and has all the fruit you could want. And when I say fruit, I mean top-of-the-range heat pump, solar, brand new ducted reverse cycle air, new ceilings and floors, a stunning European kitchen and exquisite remodelled bathroom. Everything is custom madeā¦no Kaboodle or cheap finishes here.
It has a wonderful separate living area, country style European kitchen with modern top-of-the-range and innovative appliances, a dishwasher and a new Delonghi oven being installed as we speak. The kitchen incorporates the dining too. There are 3 bedrooms with new built-in robes in the master. All lighting and electricity have been redone to create a welcoming and bright atmosphere.
The main living room is a feature - it is so large, separated, and also light and bright. You'll find yourself living in this room, moving to the kitchen for a chat, and back again. It's wonderful.
All floor coverings and window treatments are brand new, and even the doors have mesh security screens.
And then the bonus studio/work room; the carport has been fully enclosed and lined and is the perfect place to work from home or do your art or even turn it into a small workshop.
If you are waiting for the perfect town property to downsize or even want a magic first home in the centre of everything that Mundaring has to offer, then this is it. Properties on this side of town with this location are rare as hen's teeth, so don't delay.

Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
Known as the heart of the Perth hills, Mundaring is located on the eastern edge of the Perth Hills. It offers stunning walking and cycling trails, spectacular state forest and national parks and home to the historic Mundaring Weir. Other facilities include two primary schools (Sacred Heart School and Mundaring Primary School) and one secondary school (Mundaring Christian College).
