Simply Stunning

Only just completed in 2018, this near-new three bedroom three bathroom custom-built residence is barely 12 months young and combines quality modern boutique living with a secluded rear position amidst peaceful birdlife, possums and other charming forms of wildlife within footsteps of the majestic “Class A” Star Swamp Bushland Reserve, the Mount Flora Regional Museum and parklands, the vibrant Flora Terrace café and restaurant strip and beautiful beaches along spectacular West Coast Drive. Stunning timber-look floor tiles grace an exquisite open-plan living, dining and kitchen area downstairs where sliding stacker doors help bring the outside in, revealing an exotic setting of a securely-gated front yard with lush lawns and built-in seating, splendidly overlooked by a fabulous alfresco-entertaining deck. You are also blessed with a choice of master-bedroom suites, including a separate ground-floor “guest” ensemble right next to a study nook that is carpeted for comfort, generous in its proportions and features a walk-in wardrobe alongside a fully-tiled ensuite bathroom with an open shower, a vanity, toilet and external access out to a leafy rear deck – the perfect place for quiet contemplation.

A pleasant outlook from the carpeted upper-level sitting – or office – area is complemented by two further bedrooms, including a huge main master suite with five-star trappings – namely a giant walk-in robe, stylish bedside pendant light fittings, a ceiling fan and a massive open ensuite where floor-to-ceiling tiling meets a shower, separate toilet and twin “his and hers” stone vanities. Back downstairs, the kitchen itself oozes class in the form of sparkling stone bench tops, mirrored splashbacks, sleek white cabinetry, double sinks, funky light fittings, soft-closing drawers, a breakfast bar for casual meals, a 900mm-wide five-burner Westinghouse gas cooktop/oven, an AEG dishwasher and an integrated AEG microwave. The adjacent scullery plays host to glass splashbacks, pantry storage and an extra sink, while the laundry next door is almost identical and features a wash trough, more stone benches, glass splashbacks, linen storage and outdoor access to the rear.

The spare upstairs bedroom is also carpeted for comfort and features a ceiling fan, as well as its very own fully-tiled ensuite bathroom with a large shower, toilet and a stone vanity. An immaculate powder room with floor-to-ceiling tiling and a stone vanity helps make up the remainder of the lower-level features. A remote-controlled double garage with a storage recess and a handy internal shopper’s entrance is simply an added bonus.

Extras include outdoor power points, two external (front and side) gas-bayonet points, an internal gas-bayonet connection to the lower level, ducted reverse-cycle air-conditioning, quality upstairs blind fittings, glass staircase balustrading, full reticulation, a side decking area, newly-laid rear lawns, a rear garden shed, an instantaneous gas hot-water system, feature ceiling cornices, full-height profile doors, high ceilings throughout, under-ground power, an under-stair storeroom and a remote “smart” system that services the a/c, driveway lighting and other lighting via mobile. Schools, shopping, sporting fields, public transport and golf courses can all be found nearby and are a prime example of just how impressive this tranquil coastal location really is!

North Beach overview

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.

Life in North Beach

Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
