This park home, tucked in a beautiful part of the gorgeous Forrestfield Discovery Village, has some best-of-the-best features that should make downsizing here thoroughly enjoyable.
Firstly, it has one of the longest front veranda's we've seen in a park home (and I've been helping to sell these for 10 years now) The veranda is the perfect spot to enjoy a cuppa and admire the really lovely gardens, both yours and your neighbours. Some local birds will stop by and if you feel like a chat there are plenty of really wonderful people living in the surrounding homes.
Or if you feel more private, you'll love the backyard! Not all park homes have back gardens but this one is positioned along a boundary fence so you'll enjoy lots of patio space, gardens and a shed too.
When your visitors arrive, they'll be able to park right at your home as you will be one of the few people with a second under cover carport - another park home first for me!
Inside there is a lovely open plan living area looking out to the front veranda and gardens. There are two good bedrooms and the master has a semi-ensuite.
This village is lovely! Please note that this village is only available to over 50's. If you move here you will own the house and lease the land (payable fortnightly) and if you qualify - rent assistance is also available through Centrelink.
Also there is no stamp duty and no council rates to pay.

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.
Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.
There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
