A classic example of the era, this delightful home is set behind a low brick fence amongst established gardens dotted with mature fruit trees. Quietly unassuming from the street, step inside and prepare to be wowed!
The front of the home boasts a floor plan that is traditional for homes of this era, but offers the flexibility of using the original formal lounge as a fourth bedroom if desired. Soaring ceilings and Jarrah flooring feature throughout and careful renovation means that whilst the home has been modernised, it has lost none of its character and charm. Bedrooms are all of a generous size and the kitchen has been renovated to include stone-look bench tops, a dishwasher and 900mm range cooker. The addition of a feature gas log fireplace in the formal lounge creates a lovely ambience and a delightfully cosy spot to spend those cool winter nights.
The two bathrooms in the home have also been renovated by the current owners and are delightfully rustic with a modern twist. There is also plenty of storage courtesy of a handy anteroom with banks of built in cupboards.
Wander through from the original residence to the stunning guest suite or massive family play space. Soaring ceilings and feature windows here make this already expansive space seem even larger and pretty french doors provide a pretty outlook to the rear garden. An adjoining study or office is perfect as is, but could easily be converted to an ensuite bathroom to service this luxurious suite if so desired.
Wander outside to the whimsical rear gardens which feature pretty ponds with fresh watercress and shady fruit and ornamental trees. A stand alone studio with two adjoining covered al fresco areas sits in the rear garden and would suit a variety of uses from an art studio to a workshop for the avid home handyman. There is also rear access to secure two car parking from the rear laneway.
This gorgeous residence has been a much loved home for the current owners and has been re-wired and re-roofed. With a host of other extras including near-new ducted evaporative air conditioning and hot water systems, 1.5kW solar PV system and rainwater tanks just to name a few, you will need to be quick to have the opportunity to write the next chapter in this delightful home's history!

Woodbridge is a small suburb within the City of Swan that used to be known as ‘West Midland’ when it was formerly part of neighbouring suburb Midland. Woodbridge’s first growth period took place in the 1880s and 1890s, but it wasn’t till after the Second World War that significant development occurred.
Predominantly a suburb used for housing, Woodbridge enjoys close proximity to the Midland CBD. Within its boundaries there are two schools, Woodbridge Primary School and Governor Stirling Senior High School, as well as a local shopping centre which takes care of immediate amenity and shopping requirements.
Woodbridge Railway Station provides good transport options connecting to the Midland line and providing a direct route into Perth. Other features of note are the Woodbridge House National Trust and the Woodbridge Riverside Park and Play Space.
