Add your own personal modern touches to this neat and tidy 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home on the corner, nestled in a fantastic location that is brimming with convenience.
Step inside and be welcomed by a splendid front lounge room with custom media shelving in the corner. A few inches further, you will find an open-plan dining and kitchen area with more built-in storage, double sinks, an appliance nook, a range hood, a gas cooktop, separate oven and a stainless-steel double-drawer dishwasher.
Both the master and second bedrooms have mirrored built-in wardrobes, whilst the third bedroom works well as either a study or nursery, too. A largely-original bathroom plays host to a generous Roman bath/shower and has plenty of potential.
The backyard off the dining space is predominantly paved and is mostly covered by a huge dome patio that encourages low-maintenance outdoor entertaining – built-in barbecue and all. This area comprises of a clothesline and garden shed to one side.
As far as parking goes, double driveway access gates secure a potential second bay for a vehicle, preceding the single carport. They also enclose a leafy front garden that is fully-fenced and has a paved area for sitting and relaxing within, as well as a small – but delightful – verandah entry deck.
Bus stops, Maylands Peninsula Primary School, the sprawling Gibbney Reserve and Maylands Park Shopping Centre are all walking distance away, whilst our beautiful Swan River is also just minutes from your front doorstep. The RISE recreation centre, Maylands Train Station, the vibrant Maylands food and coffee precinct, medical facilities, the Maylands Peninsula Public Golf Course, neighbouring entertainment hotspots and the city – it’s all so close and very much within arm’s reach, as well. Talk about a perfect position!

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.
The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.
Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
