A Parkside Pleasure!
Enjoying the best of everything with its "Crystal Brook Estate" location allowing it to be nestled on a delightful corner block, shared with a tranquil cul-de-sac and situated directly opposite a lovely bushland reserve, this well-presented 4 bedroom 2 bathroom family home offers fantastic low-maintenance living and will definitely impress.
There is plenty of scope to add your own modern personal touches throughout a neat and tidy residence that welcomes you inside via a carpeted formal front lounge and dining room off the entry. Only inches away, the large master-bedroom suite is also carpeted for comfort and comprises of a gorgeous bay window, its own split-system air-conditioning unit, a generous walk-in wardrobe and a private ensuite bathroom with a shower, vanity, heated towel rack, heat lamps and access through to a separate toilet.
The open-plan family and meals area is spacious, as is the adjacent games room where extra built-in storage meets outdoor access to an excellent dome patio down the side of the property. Complementing four living zones in total - including a separate study/activity area for the kids - is a functional kitchen (next to both the formal dining room and family/meals space) with a Chef gas cooktop, an Electrolux Chef oven/grill, a sleek white Bosch dishwasher, a powered microwave nook, tiled splashbacks, a water-filter tap and a double storage pantry for good measure.
All three minor bedrooms have built-in robes of their own. A separate bath and shower - along with heat lamps - in the main family bathroom help cater for everyone's own individual needs.
With the new Forrestfield-Airport public-transport link due for completion later this year, this surprisingly-convenient locale is still only minutes away from schools (including Maida Vale Primary School), shopping, bus stops, the Hillview Public Golf Course, major arterial roads and the heart of Kalamunda's much-loved town centre. This area was first settled in 1873 by William Henry Mead. He built a home in the Ridge Hill area, and established an orchard named "Orangedale". The name of Maida Vale was chosen as the district name by a public meeting of local residents in 1910, and comes from the property name of another early settler, Mr W H McCormack. It is assumed that the name was derived from that of the west London suburb of this name, which in turn is named after Maida (S. Pietro di Maida) in Calabria, Italy. The British Army defeated the French there in 1806, and in commemoration of the victory Maida Hall and Maida Vale were named.
Within the suburb there is a primary school, Maida Vale Primary School, a golf course, numerous parks/ovals, small shops, and a heated swimming pool. Maida Vale retains areas of natural bushland and is not completely built-up with housing.
