Top of the Town

If panoramic views are your weakness, be sure to check out the impressive vistas from this double storey home right up the top of Drayton Way. To the west there are expansive ocean views and to the east, captivating views of the trees all the way to the Darling Scarp.

Built in 1980, this lovely home would make a great permanent home or holiday home.

The front door enters into a downstairs foyer which is large enough for a home study and is separated from a large downstairs area which could be used as a second living area, games room or for extra bedrooms. Timber look vinyl floors add to the relaxed coastal feel and provide a low-maintenance option for beachside living. Large windows overlook the outside areas providing lots of natural light and a great view. A bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity is located on the lower level.

Head up the timber staircase and surround yourself with the magnificent views – its hard to know which way to look first! Pine floors extend through the upstairs level and lots of windows and sliding doors provide a light, bright living space.

A centrally located kitchen makes the most of the views to the east, especially while you are standing at the sink. Blue laminate tops complement the timber look cabinets, and the overhead cupboards provide extra storage space.
The living area extends from the west to the east side of the home and doors on 3 sides lead to 3 different outdoor living spaces – a wide balcony at the front of the home to catch the seabreeze, another balcony on the south side to catch views of ships in the Bunbury port and a wide deck on the east side, perfect for outdoor dining.
The living area has blockout curtains and a reverse cycle air con.

Three large bedrooms are located on the upstairs level – two rooms at the front of the home both have built in cupboards and beautiful ocean views down the cul-de-sac.
The third bedroom is at the rear of the home, has an alcove for bedroom furniture or to add a built in robe and has views of the trees.
A bathroom is centrally located to the three bedrooms and has a shower, toilet & vanity.

The laundry is separate to the house at the rear of the double carport – the use of glass bricks provides light and there is a double built in cupboard for storage. At the other end of the house on the lower level there is a small workshop or garden storage area, as well as a garden shed in the backyard.

The rear yard extends down the hill with steps and some terracing. There is plenty of opportunity to transform it into an amazing garden or leave as it is for an easy lock up and leave proposition.

This property oozes vintage beach house style and commands such an impressive position, that you will want to spend every day here, living a cruisy seaside existence.

Binningup overview

Binningup is a south western coastal townsite located 127 kilometres south of Perth and 30 kilometres north of Bunbury. Binningup takes its name from "Binningup Beach Estate", a name used by a syndicate of Harvey people who subdivided the area in 1953. By 1962 there was only one resident in the area, but many homes were built in the following few years. At the request of the Shire of Harvey, Binningup was gazetted a townsite in 1963.
