Benefitting from the pleasant surprise of a lovely Perth city-skyline vista as a result of its delightful elevation, this charming 3 bedroom 1 bathroom brick-and-tile townhouse residence is as solid as they come and occupies a wonderful Maylands location only walking distance away from our picturesque Swan River and the sprawling Berringa Park that overlooks the pristine waterfront.
High angled ceilings and character slate floor tiles grace a welcoming front lounge room that is warmed by a burning pot-belly wood fireplace in the corner. A storage pantry, contemporary electric cooking appliances, a modern stainless-steel dishwasher, gorgeous wooden cabinetry, a breakfast bar (for casual meals) and more slate flooring make up the kitchen space that is adjacent to a separate dining area with low-maintenance timber-look floors.
Of the carpeted bedrooms, the cosy master is the pick of the bunch with its ceiling fan, two lots of side-by-side built-in double wardrobes and stunning views of the bright city lights and night. The second bedroom has a ceiling fan and a private balcony deck to sit out on and relax.
A quality bathroom has been impressively renovated to include a walk-in shower, sleek tiling and a floating vanity with built-in storage. At the rear, a fantastic patio encourages covered outdoor entertaining in complete tranquillity, complemented by a lush backyard-lawn strip and established gardens.
Also a matter of footsteps from your front door is the fabulous Maylands Peninsula Public Golf Course, with bus stops, the Maylands Peninsula Primary School, the St John of God Mount Lawley Hospital, Maylands Train Station, community sport and recreation at The RISE, Maylands Park Shopping Centre, cafes, restaurants, the city, Ascot Racecourse, Burswood and so much more all within arm’s reach.

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.
The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.
Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
