SPRAWLING SANCTUARY

Every now and then there comes that one Family home that truly has it all and totally captivates you from the get go. A special home that fulfills all that that you've yearned for from alluring architecture, a humungous floor plan, idyllic locale and all the extra fruit both an entertainer and a workshop warrior could ever want. Located perfectly to suit family lifestyle hugging the boundary of the gorgeous Historic Falls Farm and within easy walking distance to St Brigids Private School and bus routes this is one property that offers so much on your wish list.

Aesthetically pleasing from the roadside it's a handsome number from the 80's but it's not until you step foot into this Custom build you truly appreciate the quality, size and architectural flair. WOW factor commences as soon as you open the front door greeted by a surprising giant internal Atrium situated at the heart of the home providing beautiful natural light to a super sized floor plan that envelopes this architectural delight. Catering for the extra large families it boasts four double size bedrooms, two bathrooms, study with internal feature window peering into the atrium, sunken lounge, formal dining, huge country kitchen and dining area with exposed beams, giant family room and a separate games room with external access.

Externally this property is a paradise for kids and adults offering sprawling rolling green lawns, lagoon style pool, large paved patio and of course a Man Cave Workshop for Dad to retreat to allowing him to get his teeth stuck into all those hobbies he's been wanting to do and possibly enjoy a beer or two.

It's an absolute pleasure and privilege to represent such a home and a family that has enjoyed all the fruits this home has to offer over the last 20 years.

Lesmurdie overview

Like Kalamunda, the development of the "Lesmurdie" area is closely tied to the exploitation of the Jarrah forest in the region by the Canning Jarrah Timber Company Ltd. In 1897, Mr Archibald Sanderson, a Perth journalist commenced the acquisition of a number of these properties, with a view to building up a "rural retreat" and he named his property "Lesmurdie". Lesmurdie Cottage was a shooting-box in Banffshire, Scotland, near Dufftown and was let to Mr Sanderson's father for shooting. It was in memory of this cottage that Sanderson applied the name to his property.
