Nestled on a massive 2,023sqm (approx.) block in the heart of Perth's rolling hills, this charming 4 bedroom 2 bathroom residence is laden with original character and combines tree-lined serenity with an overwhelming sense of spaciousness in every way imaginable.

The sounds of local birds and wildlife, picturesque leafy outlooks, sprawling green lawns and hidden garden walkways are commonplace throughout the exterior of the property grounds where you will also find a fabulous outdoor patio-entertaining area and a sparkling swimming pool, connected by wooden decking - the perfect place to relax on those balmy evenings.

Internally, the central hub of the house - a stunning open-plan family, dining and kitchen area - boasts soaring high exposed ceilings (with a fan and hanging light fittings), solid brickwork, split-system air-conditioning, polished concrete flooring and a burning pot-belly fireplace. The stylish, modern kitchen itself has been impressively renovated to include a floating timber island breakfast bar, gorgeous Hamptons-style cabinetry, dishwasher, double sinks, quality tap fittings, sleek bench tops and high-end cooking appliances.

A privacy door links the main living space to a versatile lounge - or second living - room with access into the study, whilst the upstairs sleeping quarters are headlined by a comfortable master bedroom that is bigger than the rest and has its own skylight to help let the natural rays filter through. The refurbished main bathroom has even been cleverly upgraded to feature impeccable tiling, a shower and a powder vanity for good measure.

Situated opposite a bus stop and backing on to the lush Turner Park, this tranquil haven is also located only walking distance away from Lesmurdie Senior High School and very close to Mazenod College, St Brigid's College, the majestic Lesmurdie Falls National Park, shopping, major arteries and the neighbouring Kalamunda town centre. Lesmurdie overview

Like Kalamunda, the development of the "Lesmurdie" area is closely tied to the exploitation of the Jarrah forest in the region by the Canning Jarrah Timber Company Ltd. In 1897, Mr Archibald Sanderson, a Perth journalist commenced the acquisition of a number of these properties, with a view to building up a "rural retreat" and he named his property "Lesmurdie". Lesmurdie Cottage was a shooting-box in Banffshire, Scotland, near Dufftown and was let to Mr Sanderson's father for shooting. It was in memory of this cottage that Sanderson applied the name to his property.
